The house was clean ,beds comfy and the views were beautiful . When I was looking to book a place ,I was looking for privacy( it was private) and a nice hot tub so we could just unwind and relax. I emailed the owner about a week before our stay and ask if the hot tub was operational and well maintained. She assured me it was and said it was only7 months old. When we arrived the hot tub was on 75* and was murky looking. I always take a testing kit before getting into a hot tub at a rental. The alkaline was off as the bacteria was a little outside of safe range. So I called and spoke with the owner . He said to turn hot tub up to 102 and it would take 1 * per hour and he also told me to put some chemical in that was in laundry room( which I did). The temp. Came up to 95 pretty quick but took that night into next day to get to 101. Then when we removed cover the temp went back down to 95 tp 97. Needless to say we didnt get to enjoy the hot tub at all. The hot tub is set up on a 110 outlet. And is probably fine in warmer weather but not when its cold out.We were disappointed we didnt get to use it at all. Then a 60 mph wind storm hit the 3rd night we were there and blow the cover off way down the hill. My husband went down and got it and put it back on the next day but the hottub had frozeup. Overall this is a pleasant ,clean ,private place to stay. Just don't base your stay on using the hot tub like I did.
