Weekend getaway

A few friends and I stayed the weekend. This location was very clean and quiet. We would stay here again! Only issue was the hot water does not last long at all and with more than 2 people it made for some cold showers. Had a great time overall!

Home awau from home

To start, the propetty manager, Lisa was wonderful. She made it so easy to begin our stay. It was very clean, with personal touches. Very close to everything and so enjoyed the pool.

Girls weekend

Loved having the balcony to sit and chat. Having 2 bathrooms was nice. Very large pool. One of the bedrooms was small and kitchen as well. All in all a nice location.

So much better than a hotel!

2 adults and 2 11 year old boys. Great being able to spread out and not be tripping over each other. The pool provided hours of fun and relaxation. It was great not having to eat out, with price chopper around the corner, we were able to prepare meals and eat in.

Kansas City weekend

The condo was adequate. A bit outdated but tastefully decorated. Our only complaints were the main bedroom windows were old and let cold air in and ice formed on the inside and the hot water heater could not handle showers for 4 people. Otherwise, a pleasant and quiet place to stay.

Weekend in KC

Property was clean and nice but for longer stay that 2 nights I feel it could use some update in the kitchen area. It is located in a quite neighborhood, very close to a grocery store, and not too far from downtown KC. Owner was very responsive and helpful when we needed to contact him. Overall it was a good experience,

I won’t be back

The property itself was ok, although I was a concerned that several neighboring apartments clearly had security systems (stickers on doors). And according to the first person I spoke to (not the local manager), the door code never changes. So that’s concerning. And we had no internet the entire weekend. I had to call the local manager for help with the door entry and he mentioned there was new equipment (don’t remember if it was modem and/or router) but that the log-in info would stay the same. Well, it didn’t work. Told him not to worry about the first night because it was Good Friday. He was to come the next day with a tech. Never happened. No internet. So couldn’t run the roku TV or use our devices. Kind of rough for a disabled young adult who has a specific routine that requires internet. The tech had told the local manager that the connection looked good and I suspect they just decided I didn’t know what I was doing. Well, I do know what I was doing. The screen repeatedly showed that a good wireless connection had been made but an internet connection was unnsuccesion. Literally a ✅ for wireless and ⛔️For internet. (It was the same on all of our devices) I get that technology has occasional hiccups. But I have waited a week for any communication with an explanation or apology or a partial refund given I certainly wouldn’t have rented a property with no working internet service. There’s NEVER a valid reason for not communicating. If you’re looking at this property…keep looking.

Good Stay

This condo is in a great location, felt safe and was near lots of places to shop when needed. Condo was clean, spacious and just what we needed. The hosts were kind enough to leave us a little Christmas tree and decorated the living area with lights and our kids really appreciated that. The smart tvs and wifi were easy to use and convenient. The kitchen was a little tight and could’ve been better stocked. We stayed over the Christmas holiday and missed some items while cooking/baking like measuring cups/spoons and pasta strainer. We also didn’t have many bath towels but were right up the street from family so we were able to get extras from them and didn’t bother the hosts about it. Overall a nice stay for our family.

NASCAR weekend

This is a lovely condo, in a great location! There are wonderful restaurants nearby, the swimming pool on the property is nice, the neighborhood quiet, and the patio at the condo overlooks the pool. The condo is neat, clean, and nicely appointed. The host, Martin, responded very quickly to the 2 inquiries we had, and answered our questions. We are not familiar with Roku TV, and found TV use puzzling, especially when looking for Live TV programming. The bed linens, and towels are soft, fresh, and nice. The bathroom accessories like shampoo, conditioners, hair dryers are all there, and work. Our bed was comfortable, and lighting in the rooms is perfect. It was a great location, a lovely place to stay, and the race track is 10 miles away, and easy to get to from this condo. It was our first trip here, and based on our restaurant, property, and location experience, we would do this again!

Great Place

We stayed here for a little get away for my son's 9th birthday. We loved the convenience that this property offered to the locations we spent time at. The quick trip across the street was also a plus. We didn't have to drive out of our way for snacks and fuel. My son enjoyed the pool and I loved the balcony. My husband and I would drink coffee out there of a morning. Everyone was friendly and we loved how clean everything was. The property was clean as well as our condo. Would stay here again!

Family Vacation

We came to town for a quick family getaway and this was the perfect location! Kids loved the pool and was close to shopping and food. The drive to LEGOland and Union Station wasn’t far at all. Owner was very responsive and helpful to questions. Property was exactly as described. We had a great time and hope to stay again.

Vacation

We had a great experience! The condo was very clean and decorated perfectly. We loved the games and played with them often. We often spent the day doing things with our kids in the KC area, but it was so nice to come home to relax by the pool. Thank you for everything!

Great place for a girls trip

The apartment is so cute! Master bedroom is huge. 2 bathrooms was a treat. Kitchen has everything but we didn't use it at all. We were supposed to take out the trash but couldn't figure out where?? It was only sonic cups so we took it with us. All in all I would love to rent this for another girls trip!

Dissappointing

We tried to contact the property manager multiple times with no success. 1. no wifi access 2. terrible mattresses 3. hot water for showers ran out VERY quickly. 4. salt on stairs was DIY. We are not happy and will not stay here again.

Nice, but not quite as described

While located in a very good area with easy access to Shawnee, Overland Park, downtown, Arrowhead Stadium, I would not call the property "stylish" or "chic" as described in the VRBO listing. Kitchen is quite dated. Refrigerator appeared about ready to fall apart, with interior shelves loose and leaning. The bedrooms have a dearth of lamps and the ones available either did not work or malfunctioned. The linens on the beds were mismatched. Different color sheets from pillow cases. The king bed had 4 standard pillows vs. king size pillows. Main living area was the nicest part of the condo, although the sofa (a sleeper) is quite uncomfortable for sitting for more than a few minutes. While I understand the move to Roku, Sling and other streaming services, it was next to impossible to find local TV stations or make use of many of the apps on the TV. Nearly all required a Roku signon or code. Since we were not at the condo all that much, it suited our purposes fine. However, I do believe the VRBO listing is misleading. Lastly, despite several attempts to reach our assigned host contact (via email, phone call and VRBO messages), it was not until the next to last day of our stay that anyone responded. Oh, and while certainly not the fault of this property owner, there was remodeling work in progress in the unit directly below ours. Made for some early morning banging, hammering, etc.

Would stay here again!

We visited KC in 2017 and stayed in a hotel. Was happy to find this property on the VRBO app in the same area. Very centrally located for our 2021 BBQ Tour. The property was exactly what we needed for 2 couples. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths so we had our own space. When we arrived we weren't able to connect to the WiFi which is what the Roku needed to work. I texted the property owner He responded promptly to let me know the property had been sold and he would contact the new owner. I received a text from the new owner within the hour. The new owner was able to contact the internet provider and had things fix the very next day (even tho it was a weekend). For our "trouble" (which we didn't feel it was any trouble) the property owner left us some BBQ items. Which was very kind.
