Girls weekend

Four ladies had an excellent weekend here - two bathrooms, close to many places and walked to John’s Pass-would definately go back!!

We come to a kingfish tournament here every year and the host was gracious enough to apply our room fee to this year when a cold front prevented us from making it last year. I'd recommend staying with this host!

Would not book again.

Location steps to beach and St Johns Pass, with restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. Check in and parking at resort are very easy and convenient. Unit is not described accurately. There is a king bed in master bedroom (listed as queen). Second bedroom has Queen bed(listed as double). Both bathrooms have a tub shower. Cooking pots and pans are very small. Not big enough to fry a slice of bacon. And they all seem to have come from the dollar store. The bath towels are rough as sandpaper, I think they came from the dollar store as well. The floor was very dirty. We felt sand immediately upon arrival and after waking around bare footed our feet turned black. Balcony faces the street and view is mostly covered by palm trees, the traffic is very easy to hear at night. There are no beach items in room. We left some chairs and an umbrella in a closet. Dishwasher was full of clean dishes when we arrived so that was fun to unpack first thing. We had an issue with air conditioning. It was 74 degrees plus in the room. (It was 80 plus outside). We were told by maintenance the unit was freezing up and we had to leave it off for a few hours at a time for it to unthaw. It also took maintenance 24 hours to come to our unit after we called. Couch in living room is horribly uncomfortable to sit on. We did not use the pool, but there is a shower there to rinse off after you leave the beach. We did use the shower and the pool is very small with no shade. Overall I would come back to the resort just based on its location. I would not stay in room 203.

Great location. Hotel is a 6/10 as far as being maintained well with care. Beds were hard and like sleeping on sandpaper. Cleanliness was about a 7/10 and just barely enough to keep you from being concerned.

Wasn’t the worst wasn’t the best

Overall wasn’t horrible…cons- needs updated sleeper sofa and mattress and living room curtains, had to call maintenance took hours for them to unplug clogged toilet, skillet, hardly any hot water, dryer took forever to dry any clothes, light falling out of ceiling in master shower. Pros- nice location, easy access to beach.

Once again

Our second time staying in the unit. So comfy for our family of 4 and great location...away from the madness of main St Pete Beach strip and just as beautiful. Walking distance to John’s Pass is such a plus!!

Such fun times!

We loved our experience at Madeira Bay Resort! The unit was nice and clean. We loved that we were within walking distance to the beach and to the shops and some restaurants! Really nice area! We Would stay here again.
