Large spacious family friendly home with pool and spa

Set on a large plot with park like gardens all around, this spacious family friendly home really is a home away from home. In summer you'll spend all your time outside relaxing poolside, and in winter you can cosy up inside with the fire going and enjoy a nice warm spa.

The generous master bedroom features an ensuite and small changing area. The other 3 double bedrooms have direct sliding door access out to the deck which captures the morning sun and is a great spot to have your morning coffee.

A generous lounge and dining room with ornate high ceilings connects to a family sized kitchen. Directly off the kitchen is an outside entertaining area which looks out over the pool, spa and gardens. The pool is a solar heated salt water 12m x 20m pool, so plenty of space for all the family to enjoy splashing around in the pool during the summer months! Shallow end is waist deep on an average adult and the deep end is shoulder deep.

Fully appointed bathroom with separate bath as well as an additional toilet, mud room and laundry room. There is a log burning fireplace located centrally in the hallway as well as heat pumps in both the hallway and lounge.

Located in the desirable suburb of Lansdowne, with central Masterton, Queen Elizabeth Park and all other surrounding attractions nearby. Just down the end of the road, there is a dairy and children's playground.

A great place for our group to stay while attending an event in Masterton. Plenty of off street parking, a spacious house, with a well provisioned kitchen space and the pool a bonus. Felt very welcome, would stay again.

Peaceful and luxurious stay

The property was a great size for 7 people and we absolutely loved the pool and BBQ area. The lounge was very comfortable and the location was fantastic for Harvest, just a short taxi ride away. The kitchen had everything we needed and we really appreciated the fresh fruit. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Spacious, comfortable house

The property is large and very well-equipped with some lovely outdoor space. Unfortunately, the weather was pretty shocking the week we were there but we did manage some dips in the hot tub and some hours sitting outside. The kitchen is large and user-friendly with everything you could possibly need. The living and separate dining areas are also spacious and the bedrooms are generous too. Some lovely original features. Chris was very quick and responsive with the few queries we had.

Great place to stay

This is the second time we've stayed at this special place. We felt very at home in the house, and appreciate that there's lots of room to spread out in. But we especially love the pool and the spa pool and made the most of them. The outdoor table area was great for spending time and eating meals. And the hosts were great, providing good instructions and making us feel welcome in their house. I hope we will be able to visit again!

Wonderful summer break

Three generations of our small family spent a very enjoyable holiday in this lovely holiday home. The house is spacious and clean and the written notes provided by the friendly hosts were very useful. The house is well equipped and perfectly set up for sunny days. We spent a lot of time in the pool and spa and lived mostly outdoors from breakfast to dinner, using the barbecue often. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the local shopping centre where there are a superette, cafe, restaurant and takeaway shops. A further 10 minute walk gets you into the town. We look forward to returning in the future. Thank you Buzz and Chris

Lovely and relaxing

We did enjoy our stay, was a bit disappointed in the spa, was rather dirty, my son who is a plumber and knew how to deal with a spa, emptied it and cleaned it out so we could continue to use it. Some of the fruit was moldy and seemed a bit old. Had to hunt for the toilet paper, and there was just enough, haha! Not sure what recycling was meant to go out on the Friday we arrived, but the glass bins were pretty much full so felt bad leaving even more glass, sorry!! Absolutely loved the outdoor area and swimming pool. Lovely weather so pretty much lived outside! Two fridges, fantastic! Overall a great stay and would rebook and recommend.

A family time in Masterton

Loved the spaciousness of the property and the hot tub (once we got it going) Big disappointment we couldn’t use the pool as it was too cold and the pipe into it had been removed. Kitchen very well equipped as was the rest of the property. Some of the pillows need throwing out as they were very stained and some too lumpy. However, a good stay.

Perfect!

We had a group of extended family ranging from 3 - 78 years of age. The place is brilliant in terms of having a range of spaces. There is everything you could possibly need... a box of toys, netflix, coffee, fruit... We had a beautiful autumn day in which the brave ones went in the pool and the spa was well used. It is a beautiful house and it's very spacious. Excellent welcome notes made everything easy. Thank you!

Stayed with family for wedding. Two bathrooms and an additional toilet perfect. Kitchen very well equipped. Very spacious home and outdoor area. Easy access ,private home with secure on site parking. Did not use spa and pool but wonderful to have option. Would stay again.

Lovely weekend away with friends

We had such a fab time at this location - had a ball in the pool all weekend and cooked some yummy meals in the very well-organised kitchen - so handy having all the equipment like mixing bowls, pots/pans, lots of cutlery etc that short term acommo places are very often lacking! Even had a stand mixer for when we went to make pizza dough, one of the girls in our group was so stoked 😅 Thank you Buzz and Chris for having us in your amazing home :)
