The Snowcrest complex offers unparalleled views where it sits just atop a hillside across from the Resort base area. Just a short walk across the footbridge will give you access to the main transit center and the base shops, restaurants, and lifts. Relax after your adventures in the communal hot tub and grilling area with direct views of Crested Butte Mountain. This complex offers 1 outdoor permit.

This 3 bedroom, 2 full bath condominium offers a unique and cozy floor plan. As you enter the condo you'll find two cozy king rooms with a full bathroom off the hallway. Head upstairs for access to the queen lofted bedroom. Head downstairs to the open-concept living room, kitchen, and dining area for 6. Bar seating for 3. Vaulted ceilings create more space, a large couch for lounging, and a balcony with amazing views of Crested Butte Mountain. Another full bathroom is located on this floor as well. This complex offers 1 outdoor permit.

Base area access for skiing, biking, or catching the FREE Mountain Express Shuttle runs year-round for transportation to and from the Town of Crested Butte and is right across the footbridge and just a couple of minutes' walk. The summer and winter town route schedule is every 20 minutes; shoulder seasons are every 40 minutes.

Crested Butte Lodging & Property Management provides the basic comforts of home. Upon your arrival, you’ll find that we supply all linens, towels, and paper goods. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, starter shower kits, coffee packets with powder creamer and sugar, kitchen towels, dish sponges, dish soap, and dish detergent. If you would like to arrange housekeeping services during your stay, please contact our office to schedule for a modest fee.

Great location. Condo was as advertised. Clean with good amenities. Only had one parking spot so our second car had to park 1/2 mile away.

Loved the condo in Snowcrest. An easy 5 minute walk to lifts and shuttle to town. Unit was clean and comfortable. Perfect for 3 couples. All amenities as described. Nice hot tub. Beautiful view of mountain and down to Crested Butte town. Highly recommend Snowcrest.

This unit was super clean with a great location. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes etc. The location was great and the view from the living area was wonderful. The only thing I'd say is that the staircases were very steep and narrow inside the unit. They were fine for us but I'd reconsider if I was traveling with tiny kids or someone elderly.

Amazing location and view!

This property was perfect for my group of 5 adults. Bedrooms were spacious enough and the 2 full baths were enough for the group. Condo had everything we needed but the kitchen utensils/cookware were a little sparse. Condo is a bit dated but everything was comfortable and adequate. This main draw of this location is the view and the location. It is only a short walk to the base of the resort and the balcony looks out over the ski resort. This is such a great location, can't stress that enough. I would highly recommend this condo for anybody that wants to be close to the resort but isn't looking for a lot of frills/extras.

Great location! Gorgeous view!

Great spot! Unbelievable view of the Butte! Wood stove is a nice touch however it can get Smokey in the upper bedrooms, very clean and well equipped unit, it could definitely use some remolding but very 80’s retro of you like that, I did! Hot tub was great however the 9pm closing time seems too early and there are no lights on the hot tub deck! Location was great about a 5 minute walk to the base area! Lots of stairs to navigate with ski boots, The smart move is a locker for ski boots at the base area and walk back and forth in your hikers! I would definitely stay again!!

Walking distance to main resort

It was just my husband and I, but we wanted lodging close to the slopes at a reasonable cost. We didn’t need the extra bedrooms, but there wasn’t a big cost difference to have the extra rooms and the ability to make some food. It was a short 5-10 min walk to the main ski lifts, which made breaking for lunch very convenient. The condo was clean and enough linens were provided. I would gladly stay here again.

The condo is very well decorated and appears to have been renovated recently. The kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful! It was a very easy walk across the footbridge to the base of the mountain. Stairs in the unit are narrow and steep so definitely go down carefully!! And watch your head in the loft! Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed our stay!!

Location is really good but will likely go back to the Grand Lodge where we've stayed previous 10 years. Parking is a struggle, supposedly one spot but clearly not. Fire stove is nice, but no kindling available to start fire with. Had to ask for wood, there was none on deck.

Snow was fantastic.

We stayed here for a family ski vacation. It was fun. Nothing too fancy. Loved the ski resort. Had a rough time getting in when we arrived as I couldn’t find the email with entry instructions. An email reminder 24 hours before check in would be so nice. Tight entry way with 6 people and gear. Loft sleeping area was stuffy and noisy to the boardwalk outside. Other two bedrooms were fine. Comfy king bed, loved having hooks to hang stuff in there. The gathering area downstairs; kitchen and living room, was fun. Really enjoyed the deck and big windows with view of the mountain. Kitchen was equipped pretty good. No crockpot. No kitchen towels. Fire place had a strong back draft and brought in smoke so did t use it. Hot tub is close which was nice and again the view of the full moon over the mountain was spectacular. It was a bummer they shut the hot tub down for the entire day and night Saturday after a long day of skiing. Overall we had a great stay. Thanks.

Just a short walk to the slopes, the condo was clean, the view was amazing and the hot tub was perfect for apres ski. The property management team was readily avaialble and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Not the unit we rented

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We picked a condo to rent for a short ski week with our grand daughters based on location, photos and reviews, and price. We reserved unit #6 almost 5 months prior to our stay. As our vacation approached, we paid the balance for unit #12 , thinking that was not the unit # we rented, but didn't give it a 2nd thought until we walked in after registering, and realized this was not the one we rented. Unit 12 was clean, (albeit dated), but the entry led to a very awkward and dangerous spiral stairway down to the kitchen and living area, our 9 year old grand daughter immediately missed a step and fell to the bottom of the stairs (unhurt). I have to believe there must have been many falls down this stairs. The lighting in the dining and living area was poor, not enough light to read, the management staff did bring an extra table lamp after bringing this up with them. We had a fun week skiing and visiting with family at other condos, and we were generally happy with the condition of unit 12 with the exception of the aforementioned issues. As we checked out, office staff let me know she did some research into my claim this was not the unit we rented, and she let me know the owner of unit #6 wanted to use their condo the week we already reserved it for, and bumped us to unit #12. No-one let us know if this move until we were checking out. I am very disappointed in the lack of communication prior to our arrival, and also with the seemingly worthless binding contract of a reservation. Blame for this snafu falls to both the owners, and the Crested Butte management staff.

Location!

Could not have asked for a more convenient location to the lifts or to the bus stop. The condo was stalked with extra towels and extra blankets which is always a big plus! Would recommend.

This place is great. Space is large, location is better. Right across the bridge to the lift. The hot tub looks at the mountain. Enough parking. Atmosphere best.

Snowcrest Condo Review

This property was perfect for my group! The location is extremely convenient as it’s basically at the base of the mountain, the views were gorgeous, and the staff was incredible. Special shout-out to Kate and Matt for being so helpful with getting settled in and fixing any issues we may have run into. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
