Always a treat, never disappoints!

We would have never left if it were up to me!

This is the perfect beach house. The house is incredibly well appointed. Open floor plan that makes the house seem ever bigger than described.Kitchen is perfect for a large group.The pool is much bigger than it looks in the pictures, the deck is great!We are booking this house again for next summer.

So Wonderful

This is our second time staying here. My family and I love this house so much. It's a beautiful home with plenty of room and it's right in beach. The property manager is so kind and easy to work with. Everything about of experience here was excellent.

GREAT TIME

Really enjoyed the quiet setting this place had to offer. The beach was not overflowing with multiple people and there was not the bustle of the big city. Just as amazing as the first time

We loved the quiet, peaceful atmosphere of the location, and the ease and beauty of the home. It is steps from the beach, which made the back and forth with babies very easy. The home was well stocked with kitchen appliances, games, blankets, towels, and beach supplies! The host responded immediately every time and was so kind. It was a wonderful vacation for us and we hope to come back again!

We had a very small intimate wedding at this location and it could not have been more perfect!! The view, as well as the interior were absolutely beautiful. I think the pictures don’t do the house enough justice because it is gorgeous! Host was very friendly and informative. Would definitely recommend this house!

We're a big, loud, fun-loving family originally from New Orleans and now call Bay St. Louis, Mississippi home — and we live for the Gulf Coast. The Fort Morgan Peninsula is our happy place, our escape, and the backdrop for some of our best memories. We got into hosting because we genuinely love sharing this magical stretch of beach with people who appreciate it as much as we do.

We've put serious thought and care into every detail of The Salty Pelican Tuex — from the kitchen setup (because feeding a crowd is half the fun) to the air purification systems (because comfort matters). Our goal is simple: for your group to walk in, feel completely at home, and never want to leave.

We're responsive, real, and always a quick message away if you need anything. We also have a maintenance team on standby for any issues that come up during your stay. You're in good hands — now go enjoy that beach.

Fort Morgan chose us, honestly. The first time we drove out to the peninsula and saw that wide, uncrowded, natural beach — no grooming machines, no packed rows of umbrellas, just raw Gulf Coast beauty — we were hooked. As New Orleans natives, we know a thing or two about lively, crowded, wonderful chaos. Fort Morgan is the perfect antidote.

What we love most: mornings on the deck with coffee and dolphins. Evenings with a glass of wine and a sunset that stops you mid-sentence. The sound of waves that puts you to sleep better than anything else. The pelicans flying in low formation right off the deck. And the fact that you can spend an entire week here and never feel like you've seen it all.

Gulf Shores is just 15 miles away for dining, nightlife, golf, and water sports — but Fort Morgan keeps you grounded in something quieter and more beautiful. Once you visit, you'll be planning your return before you even check out.

Four things set The Salty Pelican Tuex apart from every other beach rental on the Gulf Coast — and honestly, any one of them alone would be enough.

First: we own the beach. From our house all the way to the shoreline — it's private. No public access, no strangers wandering through, no competition for your patch of sand. That's rare and it's real.

Second: that deck. Our oversized beachfront deck is an absolute showstopper — wide, breezy, and positioned perfectly for unobstructed Gulf views from every angle. Sunrise on the left, sunset on the right, dolphins straight ahead. It's the first thing that made us fall in love with this house, and it never gets old.

Third: the pool — right there on the deck. Added in March 2025, our private pool sits on the beachfront deck with nothing but the Gulf in front of it. Cool off, float around, and take in those views without ever leaving the deck. A private pool with a beachfront backdrop is something truly special, and there's nothing else like it on Fort Morgan.

Fourth: the gathering room. With a full wall of windows overlooking the beach and ocean, this is where the magic happens. Big groups find their way here every time — talking, laughing, cooking, watching the waves. It's not just a living room. It's the heart of the best vacation your group has ever taken.
