Enjoy all that Sanibel Island has to offer at the West End Paradise. Our charming cottage style accommodations offer a serene and tropical setting with mature foliage, pond with birds and turtles and we're just a short walk to the private Tradewinds beach. Unit "Starfish 1" is a hotel style room with a king sized bed, microwave, mini-fridge and coffee maker. There is a full bathroom in the room as well.  Need more room? ... add unit "Turtle 2" for an additional bedroom with queen sized bed, full bathroom, living/dining areas, full kitchen and screened lanai. All of our units come with beach towels, access to the charcoal bbq grill, outdoor seating, high speed wireless internet, cable TV and air conditioning for those tropical Island summers. This unit is perfect for a couple wanting to enjoy a quick Island getaway.  Only one parking space per unit.

*Important Note: This rental does not include beach chairs or umbrellas. Instead, we’ve partnered with VayKLife to provide you with a credit toward beach essentials like chairs, umbrellas, coolers, wagons, and more—so you can pack light and still enjoy everything you need for a perfect day at the beach. While some of our homes may have beach gear on-site, availability varies, and we cannot guarantee specific items will be provided. With VayKLife, you get to choose exactly what you need, and they’ll deliver it right to your door for added convenience. Your booking confirmation includes a link to VayKLife’s site, where you can browse their full selection and easily redeem your credit. Our stay at the west end paradise was amazing! the little cottages are in a quiet neighborhood street and its less than 10 min drive to the beach. The place has everything you need for a week stay, super clean and cute place!! absolutely recommend!

Nice Island Rental on a Budget

Property was very clean. Great location close to Captiva and Sanibel. Bathroom was nice and clean. Only complaints: 1. Beach Parking Pass is ONLY for use on the property’s beach access. I wish this was more clearly stated on the room literature as we found this out the hard way! $150 parking ticket! 2. The bed is awful. Not very comfortable at all. That’s about it. The space is small, like a budget hotel room small. But we didn’t spend a lot of time there. Between the bed and one very uncomfortable chair there was no place in the room to get comfortable for me. 3. The bikes that are supplied are old and not in great working order ( The pedal kept falling off one of them! ) Sanibel/Captiva is a beautiful place. If you’re looking for a 5 Star Resort keep looking. (And there are lots of them on this Island but big $$$$) This is a nice hotel room on a beautiful beach for a reasonable price. I probably wouldn’t choose this again but we did have a great time!

I booked this room for 3 nights but ended up leaving after 1. This is a very small room. The bed is horrible and sleep was impossible. Overall, the extremely small space could be uograded with a small investment (new bed, new window treatments) and you could than call it quaint but as it stands now my suggestion would be to save your money and keep looking.

Getaway Cottage By the Sea

Lovely lovely cottage a short walk to a private beach. Beach gear in the closet (two chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler!). We rode the available bikes to the beach everyday- 3 minute bike ride! Nice lagoon in the back to watch the pretty birds. Room is quaint-just right for 2 people for a 3-day stay! We will for sure be back! (The bed is not comfortable but we made due!!!!) :-)

I love everything about this property .

I love everything about this property .. location, pond and wildlife, easy access to the beach. The room was very clean! The shower looked rather new. However, the blinds are bent and broken and small throw pillow is stained and faded. The door is very hard to open and appears to need some trim work completed. The bed was very noisey and the headboard wobbled. I would not consider this room a 5 star room.

Relaxing Weekend

Such a pretty place in a quiet neighborhood. Looking forward to coming back soon. Loved that bikes, beach items were there for us to use. But loved getting up and sitting on the dock looking at the pond with all it's wildlife in the morning. And the short walk to the private beach was just what the doctor ordered.
