A Getaway Retreat A 2/2 Pet Friendly

A fabulous totally remodeled and decorated west side unit 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath elevated two level duplex home. New tile floors throughout with kitchen with new appliances. Tasteful turnkey furnished king in the master and two twins in the guest room along with a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. All in one Washer/Dryer in the unit.

This condo will accommodate 6. A tropical yard setting with a nice seating area.

A private sundeck to enjoy your sunrise morning coffee. Two car garage under building and a downstairs sitting area with grill and firepit. Newly painted interior and exterior. Storage area equipped with a beach buggy, chairs and beach equipment.

This spacious duplex is located just 1 block to the bay, which offers a kayak launch, playground and basketball court.

Beach cart is provided in the storage area with all beach gear

Need additional room? Bring your friends and family as the east side is also available. Pets welcome with a $150 Non-Refundable Pet Fee

What a perfect location! Two blocks from a beautiful secluded beach! Everything you need is provided, including a very comfy king size bed!! Pet friendly too, which is always appreciated!

Fantastic Location & Great Value!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, easy beach access 2 blocks away and bay access 1 block away. Very friendly neighborhood and nice, comfortable accommodations!!

Great vacation house

First time to Anna Maria Island and we loved it!! The house was in a great neighborhood, close walk to the beach. They had everything you needed for a nice day on the beach! Will definitely book again!!

Clean and soothing

We had a spectacular stay. The place was clean and so homey. The communication with the property manager was wonderful. A leisurely walk to the beach (about 2 blocks). It had all the essentials and more.

Had a good stay. The only problems for me 1- internet connection braking several times. 2- Slow communication with owners, couldn’t get them on the phone, and slow online response.

BEACH TRIP

Everything was perfect. The place was very nice and accomodating and close to the beach. The only issue I had was trying to figure out how to work the washer/dryer. I was never able to make it work.

We loved our visit to Bradenton Beach!!! The lil beach town is so quaint!! The lil park a block away was so nice! The white sands and beautiful water! The beach cart was handy and the toys a hit!! Lil issues were: needed a separate app to communicate with property management. Suggestions: leave directions for washer/ dryer combo and tv remotes.

Great location. Near the Beach.

Everything was great! Just a few items I would add to the property. A vacuum. I swiffer wet jet. More tp and paper towels. I had a hard time keeping up with sand, with just a broom. I full size iron. And an umbrella for front porch. Lastly i believe the write up said there where beach chairs, and a wagon. We could not find any. The people on the front had some. Luckily we have friends close by bowered chairs and wagon from them. Thank you for the stay. We had a very good time.

The rental was cute and beachy and relaxing. I rented it for my daughter and grandaughter.

The neighbor in back if the house was off-putting. He was inebriated on more than one occasion and trying to interact. When they first arrived he started to follow them up the stairs until my daughter asked him what he was doing. Also the washer dryer did not work. We had to call for wifi access but the island rental office gave us the wifi the next day. My daughter and grandaughter just went thru the hurricane and had no electricity at home so it was a nice relief to have that. And the apt is really cute and cozy.

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed on Anna Maria Island for 12 years and have always used IVP, so when we had to stay only 4 days instead of a full week I reached out to them for advice. One property recommended to us was this one, and we absolutely loved it! Nice quiet street 5 minute walk from the beach, couple minute drive to any restaurant or grocery. The unit itself was in a beautiful quiet neighborhood, very near the bay and a beautiful park as well. Everything was beautiful in the unit, very updated and clean, private deck was awesome! A large variety of beach chairs and cart and toys as well on site. Couldnt have asked for a better vacation rental. Once again IVP came thru and of course there was excellent communication all through the planning process and the trip. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This rental is an older home with not all of the bells and whistles of something new. With that said, it was clean, quiet and a great location. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all of the basics. My husband and I either walked or took the trolley up and down the island. The grocery store is a 15-20 minute walk and the bleach is just 2 beach blocks. The most AMAZING sunsets! The only negative was the beach chairs were the worst. For those of us who love the beach, Upgrading the beach chairs for guests would be my only suggestion.

Overall, adequate, but things like the grime running down from the stove vent on the wall behind the stove, dirty baseboards, door frames and areas around door knobs. These things are true signs of how well cleaning is being done. We greatly appreciated the number of bathroom towels and wash cloths. Also the number of beach towels for our use and the beach chairs made available. The door to the balcony was difficult to open, and we couldn’t open it completely. It is evident that work is being done to make improvements on the property.

Issues Need Addressed

While the location of the condo was fantastic--at about the middle of Anna Maria Island and 2 blocks from the beach--and the furniture and interior design appeared new and was comfortable, the missing elements that are typically found in a Florida VRBO rental are a deal breaker for us returning to this condo. I have rented places in Marco Island, Johns Pass and St.Pete and have never had these inconveniences: 1. The beach equipment in the closet was awful. There were only a few small beach chairs that are on the ground and do not recline. One chair is broken. The camp chairs there are not for the beach. Only one working, small umbrella, although there were 3 umbrella poles. The cart was rusted but useable. We chose to trolley to Manatee Beach where you could rent beach chairs--and added expense for our vacation. 2. There was no ice maker as noted on the amenities. Also, there was no cooler which would have been helpful to take to the beach. We had to buy a styrofoam cooler. 3. The washcloths were so hard and scratchy they hurt our skin. 4. As a result of the apparent new floor, the porch doors did not open fully. It was difficult to squeeze through the doors to use the porch. 5. The outdoor space was soggy and wet and attracting mosquitoes. You should look into drainage. 6. The washer and dryer unit has no instructions so I had to google it. Also, we thought it was broken because it would not turn on. The property management company was unresponsive to my maintenance request so we tried another outlet and it then worked. Therefore, that wall outlet needs fixed. 7. Finally, take note that the Anna Maria Island locals are not welcoming. We were literally screamed at by people who shouted obscenities out their car window when we crossed the street and parked at the dog park lot. All of which were done legally. However, the restaurant employees and shop owners were friendly.
