A roomy self contained studio apartment with a large deck overlooking a leafy outlook. It is an easy 15 minute walk to beautiful Avoca Beach, one of the best surf beaches in NSW. The village and beach have plenty of delightful cafes and restaurants.
Avoca lake is great for kayaking and paddle boat hire.

A quiet beach getaway

Bruce's place is lovely. Its spotlessly clean and located in a quiet leafy area. Nicely decorated with lots of little touches to make it a relaxing stay.

The place is beautiful. There are quite a few steps to navigate, otherwise a beautiful spot for a weekend away. I well recommend the place.

The Avoca Beach Guesthouse was perfectly clean and tidy, well-situated a short drive up the hill from the shops and the beach. The bed was comfortable with bedlights. The kitchen was good for cooking meals and the fridge capacious. TV good. Portable radios do not work well (not the owner's fault), but there is digital radio on the TV. We enjoyed our stay very much

Suited our needs

We were only looking for somewhere to sleep as we were spending time with family elsewhere. It was perfect for our needs clean, quiet and very responsive owners to a minor plumbing issues.

Excellent

Lovely accommodation a short drive from Avoca Beach. Very comfortable bed, full size fridge and sufficient cooking equipment which was handy as I stayed for a week. Undercover outdoor table and chairs were a nice place for my morning coffee. Very quiet neighbourhood.

We were dismayed to find that the property was accessed by 14 steps with no handrail, which presented considerable difficulty for one of us. The bathroom tap runs at a dangerous temperature and cannot be cooled once it has heated up.

Living on a street away from crowds. very quiet and dark at night. comfortable furniture. contacted by owner on email which I was not looking at . should use SMS as well or instead.

Great Stay

This was our first stop on a busy trip. Host was wonderful to communicate with and it was so nice to arrive to such a spotlessly clean place with everything we needed.

Great place to stay in a great location

The room was very comfortable and in a nice, quiet location not too far from the beach and shops. Bruce was very helpful and attentive. My partner and I really enjoyed our time here and will definitely stay again in the future.
