Solitude with a pool and spectacular views pet friendly

Our property overlooks the Beautiful Doubtless Bay with spectacular 270 degree views out to the Kare Kare peninsula. Enjoy the restaurants in nearby Mangonui and Taipa resort. Great accommodation for couples or families who want to have a peaceful getaway in the winterless North. The swimming pool is just outside your door to enjoy. We also have 2.7 hectares of bush walks for you and your pet to enjoy. Pure solitude.
We have 2 German Shepherds a 4 year old and a 21 month old who love people and are dog friendly and they are trained to keep away from guests.

The space
The downstairs unit has Sky TV a microwave, fridge with Tea and Coffee making facilities.
We have been renovating our property but downstairs is ready to go .
We live upstairs but quiet!!!
It is a good note to say that if you dont like dogs maybe not totally good for you

Lovely little bach

The pool was absolutely fantastic, Belinda and Steve were so kind and helpful, the dogs were lovely too! Ideal little place to enjoy the pool and the beautiful surrounding area.

well...

the hosts are nice. the dogs too. unfortunately, when we arrived, they were very overcrowded. our children were very scared. you live in the house on the lower floor with the hosts. it is not a separate apartment. no kitchen. pool closed off. which is good because of children & dogs. unfortunately, everything was full of animal hair. value for money ok.

Beautiful location, great hosts. No real kitchen

Pool was lovely, place was very clean and cozy. Would be a bit crowded with more than 2 people. And just as a heads up there's a mini fridge, toaster and kettle and a grill, no actual kitchen. If you can make do with that you're set to go. Fantastic spot to return to after touring around the Northland.

Stay with a view!

What a wonderful get away for my family. Superb hosts with two lovely big dogs. So freindly. Great location to explore far north and it was amazing to come back for a swim in the fantastic heated pool. 5 stars!!

Tranquil retreat

One of the best views in New Zealand

Lovely spot, friendly owners (including their dogs), plenty of places around to eat out. We were visiting whanau in the area, so didn't spend a lot of time at the bach. The heated pool really looked inviting, but the weather was a bit cold for swimming. Most likely, we'll be back when the weather is more stable. Highly recommended and you won't be disappointed.

Lovely place with great views, had a flood shortly before we arrived so some repairs were needed but overall a nice place to stay, lovely hosts as well

Room with a view.

This has to have one of the best views available in Northland. Rooms are perfectly adequate, and that is reflected in the price, however the view and the outside pool area is far better than pricier properties. Hosts were fantastic and the kids love playing with the dogs. Would absolutely stay again.

Amazing place to stay.

Stayed at Belinda and Steves with our two kids. They were great hosts, and their dogs are super friendly. Amazing place to relax with awesome views. We travelled to Cape Reinga from here for a day. Kids absolutely loved it as well as us, and spent as much time in the pool as possible. Great facilities and rooms. Was the best place we stayed on our holiday up north. If we are up there again, we will definitely try to book with them again.

Relaxing holidays up north

We had truly great and fully relaxing experience. For the kids the highlight was the swimming pool and playing with the dogs. Archie and Ollie were very friendly, very well natured German Shepherds. We had our mini schnauzer with us and he enjoyed playing with the dogs and running around outdoors free range. The views are outstanding, it’s such a beautiful and peaceful place. Great for just relaxing and not doing much, or going to bush walks or beach within short drive. Belinda’s and Steve were amazing hosts, we were greeted with such warmth. Thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness. We definitely will be back and already planning our next stay next summer holidays!
