Great Getaway

Everything was great for our weekend getaway.We only had 3 small issues 1 the code for entry would not work, luckily the side door was open so we could enter. We called and got this issue addressed the next morning.2 The Hot Tub was only 1/3 full so we had to fill it and could not use the hot tub until the following afternoon3 There was a dirty sock on the floor in the bedroom that was there when we got there.Otherwise this was a great stay.

Great cabin

Perfect little cabin! Tucked away in a nice quiet spot. Conveniently located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Everything we needed was included. Grandson loved the arcade!

Very clean property. Had a great stay. View from front is only the road. But in the back is wooded with a creek. Will definitely return.

Best cabin we’ve rented in the area

We really liked the coziness of the cabin. Amenities in the kitchen weren’t perfect no salt/pepper, filter was out for water and no laundry pods, BUT I we would definitely stay here again. Perfect for a couple which is hard to find in the area with a quality higher end cabin. And the owners called us to see how we like our stay afterwards. Big plus in our book. Thank you so much!

Perfect!

Everything was exactly as pictured. Beautiful and comfortable cabin. Property managers were very easy and prompt in their communication when we had questions. Great vacay if you want to stay in your cabin and do nothing or lots and lots to do in the area if you want that.

Nice secluded cabin

If you are wanting a quiet getaway in a secluded cabin, this is the place for you! Lover’s Hideaway lives up to its name as it is the last cabin on the road. The cabin exceeded our expectations in many ways. Lover’s hideaway brings the rustic beauty of a cabin in the mountains as well as modern luxuries such as the jacuzzi and appliances. We will make this our go-to next time we visit gatlinburg.

Bears galore

Cabin was beautiful and clean. Pots and pans have seen better days and there is no strainer, pizza pan or cookie sheet. We seen 15 bear in our 6 night stay! All bear within a half mile. Cabin is secluded with a creek running next to cabin. The pool table is falling apart and you have to be mindful of that when your playing. All around great beautiful stay.

Absolutely Beautiful

The cabin was amazing, no neighbors, even sat outside in my nightgown, the stream is very peaceful absolutely loved the sound of the running water, spotless which is a big thing to us, loved it so much we even booked another trip in this cabin before we left Tennessee, we have booked many cabins over the last few years but this one will now be our to go to cabin, thanks for everything

Beautiful cabin and great experience!

Our family had a wonderful experience renting this property. Property was as advertised on the site, beautiful, private, amenities listed were available and working. The phone app with all the information was very helpful and easy to use. We went to the app to find local things to do including hiking, mini-golf, Ober Gatlinburg and an Alpine coaster. Online booking was easy, online check-in/out instructions were thorough, and we had no issues during our stay. The property was clean and very well maintained. We hope to go back to this property for another family vacation in the future.

Secluded nice cabin

We enjoyed our stay! The layout of the cabin is great and was comfortable for us and our dog. The kitchen worked fine for us as we like to prepare our own meals. The property is as described. We would have liked some hooks for towels and robes, a little cleaner (food under couch & mildew on shower curtain). The location is up on a ridge which makes for quiet seclusion where we enjoyed the running creek. It is however a 10 minute drive to the parkway in a steep winding road. Thank you!

Perfect Getaway

This was a perfect cabin for our getaway week. Cabin is modern yet still cabin cozy. The wrap around porch, upper deck and hot tub are very relaxing in the evenings. Cabin has nice large TVs with cable and online movie services. While there are other cabins in this area, this cabin is still secluded and very peaceful. The road up to the cabin is very winding but that is to be expected for cabins in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. The cabin is located within easy driving distance to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge if you want to go out for fun, dinner, etc.. The only negative thing I can say is that you have to bring your own firewood!

Wonderful, quiet location

My wife and I absolutely loved this cabin. It is perfect for anybody who doesn't want to go downtown all the time (15 min drive), wants to be in a great central location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, and be able to peacefully sit in the hot tub listening to the creek nearby. The only downside was we did not have a working code to get in the door when we arrived Sunday night. We understood it was Easter, but had to find a hotel and then call the company the next morning. Once we were able to get in touch they offered a refund for the night and we got a working code for the door. Overall a fantastic cabin!!

Great secluded spot.

Great place overall. Would go back again. Very secluded, Very new & clean inside, and easy/efficient process for everything. Close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge areas for shopping/activities. Some nit-picky things; little arcade game didn’t work (at least I couldn’t get it to come on). The several checkout reminder texts/emails were a bit much. Just one the morning-of would be good. Hot tub seemed like it had dead skin floating around but maybe thats just the mountain water. roads are very steep to get to the cabin (as expected for a mountain cabin.) I wouldn’t go in the winter with slick roads. Not sure where the community pool was located. It was rainy for us anyway so we didn’t look too hard.

Nice cabin

The cabin is great! We had a pool table we never used but not enough dish towels. 1 dish towel is not enough. I have problems with eating so we have to do most meals at home. Had to use hand towels as dish towels. It would not have been a problem if we had simply been told to bring your own dish towels. Also the lighting is very dim. The kitchen is really dark. This could have been fixed with under counter lighting at least!! On the good side we actually saw 5 bears on the road going up to the cabin one night.

Great Cabin Getaway

We loved the cabin! It was very secluded and in the bottom of a gorge. We could hear the creek flowing from our porch and it was so relaxing. I enjoyed watching hummingbirds feed on wildflowers in the mornings and soaking in the hot tub in the evenings all from the porch! It wasn't an easy drive to get to the cabin, but it was worth it!! I would recommend NOT driving a large vehicle. The turns and curves will be easier to maneuver. I would also suggest bringing extra kitchen rags/towels if you are planning on using the kitchen. They only had 1 of each. Other than that, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, and cookware. One final note about the kitchen, bring your own ice because the fridge doesn't have an ice maker!! We have 2 small children and used the pools that were available to us through the HOA and they were very nice and well managed. Even though Jackson Mountain Homes customer service folks will tell you that you don't have to have a pool pass, you actually DO!! It was a process to convince the pool attendants that we were staying in a qualified residence because we didn't have a pool pass. It would have been so much easier, if they had simply left a pool pass in the kitchen like the check-in paper work said there would be. It all worked out in the end!

Beautiful cabin but several problems

Still pending a response/refund from customer service for several issues so might adjust based on that response. Customer service was helpful but wish I hadn't needed them. Positives: Beautiful, almost like new cabin. Very clean. Updated everything. Nice, comfortable furniture and appliances. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed plus a video game machine. The hot tub was also newer and more upper end than other cabins. Really enjoyed the hot tub after our long hikes. Negatives: Upon arriving and after a long day of hiking, we could not get in the cabin. The code to the door didn't work. Had to call service and spent close to a 1/2 hour on the phone (exhausted after our hike) before they gave me a code for the lockbox to use a key. After finally getting in, we found the wifi wasn't working either. Could connect but no service. Called service back to add that to the door issue. We were told someone would be out that evening and we didn't have to wait around. After returning from dinner we received a note saying they couldn't fix the problems because we had the key. Of course we had the key since the doorpad didn't work. They promised to come back the following day. When we returned from our day out the next day, we received a note that they could not fix the doorpad or the wifi. They did manage to change the batteries in the remote upstairs that wasn't working. One other note, the property listed a DVD player so we brought our work out DVDs and equipment. No DVD player. Other notes: Depending on what you like, the cabin is in a remote area that requires a winding ascent and descent to get to the property with several cabins under construction and work trucks on the narrow roads. If you like a more secluded cabin, you will like this. If you are uncomfortable with that, you might not. It would have been nice to be able to turn on the alarm when we slept at night but it seemed the alarm was only enabled for "Away" when you left the cabin. The cabin itself is a 5. Location is a 3. I don't expect to have such basic items such as the door not working and wifi not functional the entire trip so pending response, overall 2 stars.

Beautiful property

The property was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The drive to the property was quite treacherous, I do think that should be listed in the description because some people may have trouble with the location and the difficult, intimidating drive to get there
