Madeira Norte 102 - Updated 2 bedroom 2 bath located steps from the beach and across from popular John's Pass Village offers great value! Madeira Norte #102 is a 940 square foot property that provides everything you need to have a memorable vacation. The unit offers an open floor plan with ample seating in the living area for watching television or playing board games. Updated main bath off living area and a full bath off the Master bedroom. The kitchen, with new cabinetry, updated appliances and countertops, comes fully stocked with utensils as well as a washer and dryer for your use. Enjoy a coffee or an afternoon cocktail from the 28 ft balcony. Master bedroom has balcony access. Please note that lost fobs will incur a replacement fee of $250, or the withholding of the equal security deposit, depending on the method of booking.

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

The master bedroom is spacious with a king sized bed and flat screen television. The second guest room offers 2 single beds with plenty of space provided for your belongings. Like all SunHost properties, the bathrooms are meticulously clean. Linens, extra towels and pillows are provided for the comfort of our guests. Enjoy free WiFi and long distance in the US & Canada from this unit.

As a SunHost guest, you will have access to office services, including copy and printing boarding passes. Seven day a week maintenance service is available as well as an after hours emergency on call person. This is a non smoking home.

Please note the Rules and Regulations for Madeira Norte Condominiums prohibit motorcycles on the property. The Board of Directors has authorized the removal of motorcycles via a local towing company.

There is one assigned parking spot for this condo.

The location of this vacation property is unsurpassed and especially popular for families. Steps away from the beaches, guests can also enjoy the heated swimming pool and BBQ facilities. John's Pass Village, a popular destination for year round residents and tourists alike, is just across the street. The Pass is a quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village and Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction. The Village has over one hundred unique shops, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. Best of all as a SunHost customer you can walk to this great entertainment destination. Anchor tenants include Bubba Gumps, Hooters and Hubbards Marina and also world famous Bamboo Beer Garden.

Madeira Beach is a sought after community, just west of St. Petersburg. Its 2.5 mile beach is popular with sun lovers and offers some of the best fishing in the area. This beautiful Gulf getaway, has something for everyone, including dolphin watching, water sports along some of the most beautiful crystal clear waters in the world.

Nearest airports are Tampa International Airport at just over 20 miles and St. Petersburg Clearwater International at 10 miles away.

Beautiful condo perfect location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I recommend staying at this condo when visiting Johns Pass and Madeira Beach. We liked that it was on the first floor, so using the one flight of easy stairs was convenient, and we didn't have to always wait for the elevator. The music from the bar across the street usually ended by 9 or 10 pm at night, so that was not a problem. My only concern is that there is absolutely NO beach gear--no chairs, umbrellas, beach towels or even a styrofoam cooler (cost us $12 at 7-11). This is very inconvenient for most of us who arrived by plane. This forced us to spend $165+ to rent two chairs and an umbrella from the beach guy. Other than that, the furnishings inside the unit were perfect and everything else worked great.

The condo we stayed in was nicely updated, and we enjoyed it overall. There were a few things I found a nuisance. The recliner didn't recline, which was kind of inconvenient. The TV is ridiculously complex to turn on, even hitting the one button you are told to press, 9 out of 10, it wouldn't even turn on. We ended up leaving it on when we would leave to insure we can use it when we came back. Also, if you are going to make a set temp of 72, owners or the company should probably provide a box fan of some type to use to help circulate the air. 72 in Florida humidity is not enjoyable in the Summer. Even with those few things, as they aren't deal breakers, I would stay here again in a heartbeat over the other condos we have stayed in, in Maderia. We will be back for sure.

Rude Property Owners at the Condo

The unit it’s self wasn’t bad. Had everything we needed and in a good location. HOWEVER.... we had a few issues with the OTHER property unit owners. They don’t seem to like that this unit/other units are being rented out and they let it be know to the people who paid to rent! The head of the homeowners association is a total jerk! Him, his wife and their friends are border line stalkers and like to make up their own rules! They watch your every move! I have never felt so unwelcome & uncomfortable in any other condos I’ve rented in the past 15 years! Save yourself the trouble and just go somewhere else. I’m 44, my husband is 47.... we are very respectful of others property but these guys made it seem like we were there to vandalize their property or something ! Lol I’m blown away how we were treated! We couldn’t even back into an open parking lot space where a license plate was completely visible! I could go on but tired of talking about it already after dealing with it all week! It was bad!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I have stayed in many condos over the years and this one was by far the best one to date! This condo has been remodeled and was absolutely perfect for us and our two kids. We also had room for at least 2 more people. The condo was clean and sand free when we entered. The kitchen boasted plenty of cabinet space and was fully stocked with dishes, pots, and pans. This unit also has a washer and dryer which is a must have for my family on a long trip. The staff was super friendly AND on top of all of these things, the location is absolutely amazing!!! This unit is directly across the street for John’s Pass Village so we were able to enjoy the beach all day and then take evening strolls along the boardwalk. There were many days when our truck never left the condo parking lot. The boardwalk offers several places to shop and is also home to a lot of ice cream stores. There are several options for restaurants including DeLosa’s Pizza, Bubba Gump Shrimp, and a local favorite called the Friendly Fisherman. John’s Pass is also home to several tours including the Pirate Ship (which I recommend), dolphin cruises, and deep sea fishing. The condo is also located about 1-2 miles from chain retail stores such as Walmart, Publix, and Target (in case you forget to pack something). I can’t even to begin to tell you how fabulous this place is! I would recommend this to anyone and have already began the process of booking next year. Mad Beach is the best and staying in this condo made it even better!

We have stayed at this particular condo the last three years and love the layout, the fact that there is no carpet (to hold that musty smell) and the location. Being right across from the pass allows for walking distance to restaurants and attractions.Hoping to see the prices stay close to the same for next year as we would love to make it four years!!!

The condo was very nice and we liked that it was more updated than condos we have stayed at in the past. We would highly recommend this condo! The only minor issues we had were that the shower in the master bathroom is extremely small. Also, I think the lock on the door needs to be updated or fixed. It was kind of a chore to lock/unlock the door. Other than those two minor things, everything was fabulous!

Beach get a way

This condo was very spacious and very clean. Easy access to the beach, pool and walking distance to johns pass. One downfall was they had no beach chairs or beach towels for the guests. That was disappointing. Other then that is was fine

Check in time is 4pm, arrived at 345pm, long, long lines.Took 5 trips to office and 2 days to get correct keys and parking permits. Gave keys no keys to condo, said has keypad. No keypad, then got keys to another condo.Missing parking permit, elveator key had ridges worn off,no access to elevator or stairs. Rudest rep Ever encountered at Sunhost. on 4th trip, said its after 5 and I am off now. Call the emergency number if these keys don't work or comeback Monday. Issues during stay in condo: sink leaked, big puddle of water under sink, bathroom in hall had water streaming thru ceiling vent when condo above was showering. Dryer was so clogged with lint it accumulated in the dryer door and ruined our dark clothing. We had cleaned filter prior to use. AC went out 2 days in a row, finally we just left early. Horrible customer service. The maintenance people were great however. Sunhost Resorts was horrible. We should dispute the credit card charge for our stay. Never again with Sunhost Resorts.

They sit down at the pool and yell at everyone that they think are being too loud, do not like the gate, etc.... they take up a large amount of pool chairs and sit in a group and see who they can yell at next. This is very disappointing. I also think all of the keys to everything need to be changed out for combo locks...you should also hire and have available for rent beach service. Finding chairs and umbrellas was impossible on the beach. The pool also needs to be bigger.

Close to everything

Recently remodeled kitchen and floors. New paint. Secure entries. Very clean. Easy walking distance to beach and shops. Tons of activities nearby. Pool is small. Balcony is huge and you can hear live music from the open hut bar across the street. Would definitely visit again.

Great location.

Great place to stay. Everything was clean and well maintained. Property was maintained everyday, pool was nice, easy access to the beach, beach was very clean, sort walk to johns pass, many shops, restaurants, boardwalk. We would definitely stay here again.

Stay March 5-12, 2021

LOVED this property! Condo was super clean and the kitchen was fantastic! The most well stocked kitchen I've ever experienced on our many vaca travels. This condo had a great pool and fantastic beach access. We were directly across the street and could walk right to John's Pass. Check in and Check out was super simple, and the staff was very pleasant. My only suggestions would be to have a few beach chairs on site for guests, and to have room darkening curtains in the master. bdrm. We would definitely stay in this unit again.
