While a vacation can’t change your life completely there is one thing a stay at Destin State of Mind can change- gloomy outlooks begin to transform into sunny optimism. While lounging on the 30 foot private balcony, looking out past the spacious pool deck surrounded by tropical palm trees and onto the emerald waves rolling in, guests begin to feel a sensation that is particular to being in Destin- serenity.

This three bedroom, three bathroom beachfront condo at Silver Shells offers guests the rare opportunity to have deeded access to the whitest sand beaches in the world on the exterior while enjoying the calming coastal decor scheme and many upgrades in the cool interior. Travertine tile floors; a granite and stainless steel kitchen; and a giant luxury bathroom in the master suite combined with conveniences like a washer/dryer, smart TVs and high-speed elevators add another level tranquility to the already peaceful Destin air.

Guaranteed to brighten any mood are the fantastic Silver Shells amenities. An exceptionally large lagoon pool with a hot tub and kiddie pool are just beyond the balcony; a seasonally-open tiki bar with live music sits quaintly on Silver Shell’s private beach; plus a playground, a grilling area and the famous Ruth's Chris Steak House (well known for its live music and happy hours) are also on the property. Moreover, Destin State of Mind is within walking distance of dozens of beach shops, restaurants and stores and is only a short drive from several award-winning golf courses.


We do not rent to anyone under 25 or to students.
Tents and canopies are not permitted on property.
Outside Guests are allowed with permission from the main association. If you will have visitors, please inform us as there are restrictions.

This is an excellent family friendly resort. We were well informed of everything pertaining to our stay while on-site and the ease of the check in check out process was fantastic. This was a beautiful well maintained condo that offered excellent amenities. The location was also great, since it’s near many local attractions, shopping, and restaurants (several within walking distance). We had a wonderful stay in Destin and will definitely plan another trip there soon.

Memories

We arrived late from airport, but the check in process was smooth and we were greeted with a great location, very nice Condo. The ability to cook some of our meals also helped with our cost of the vacation. The property being secured with a full time guard at the gate was also a pleasant surprise and looking out our condo balcony was like looking at a post card. We have made numerous trips to the Destin area, by far the best location we have selected.

Beach & Wedding Weekend

The condo was large with plenty of room for 6 adults and one child. It was spotless and well maintained. The property was beautiful with an amazing pool and beach access. There was parking for only two cars and we had three which really put a damper on our stay. We all had new cars and no one wanted to park off property. I didn’t know this when booking and it did cause discord among the family. I would have cancelled if I could. One other disappointment was that you couldn’t put up your personal umbrella on their private beach. You could pay over 100 a day for their chairs and umbrella though. We will not be returning here due to these two things.

Easy & beautiful!

We had my parents that are both almost 80 and our children ages 12 & 9 on our spring break trip and the property was fabulous for all ages. The amenities around the property were perfect! Beautiful Destin Getaway

This was a last minute trip after our initial Fall Break plans were cancelled due to a hurricane.The property was as described and beautiful! The management company was very organized and had great communication. I would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous property!

Our whole family greatly enjoyed our stay. The condo is very clean and spacious, and conveniently located just above ground level with gorgeous views of the lagoon pool and ocean. The pool was comfortably warm, and we also used the indoor pool and hot tub located directly behind the building when it rained one day. There are tennis and pickleball courts, and a basketball court. The beach is absolutely beautiful and has chairs and umbrellas for rent, and a tiki bar is right on the beach. The lobby is very pretty if you want to sit and relax with a cocktail. Overall we were very impressed and would be happy to come back!

Excellent stay!

The condo fit 4 adults and 4 small children comfortably. Excellent location with a short walk to the beach! Beach bar was convenient. Kids and adults enjoyed the large pool. They provided one laundry detergent, two dish detergent packets and enough coffee to make one pot. No seasonings/salt/pepper. It was enough to get us started but wanted to add to this review so others will know what to expect. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

Great week in Destin

Very pleased with the condo and facility in general. Host provided all necessary codes in advance for seamless access upon arrival. Pool area well maintained. Loved the little bar at the beach area. Cost to rent beach umbrella with 2 chairs was $65 for a day, and they put them away around 5 pm. Just an FYI. Would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful property!

Condo was spacious and clean. The property was very well maintained and simply beautiful. We had a wonderful stay. Had a small problem with access on the first day. Response from property management was quick and easily resolved. We also tried the on-site spa. Also highly recommended.

Great family get away!

The condo was perfect for our family of 5. The kids loved the swimming pool and we appreciated that the large pool started at 3 feet deep so all the kids could touch and be in the big pool. Being right on the beach was ideal as well. We will return for sure!

Serenity at the beach

The property was absolutely lovely. The kitchen was nicely stocked, could have used some of the basic spices - salt & pepper. Plenty of space for the five of us in the living areas and comfortable. The bedrooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and equipped with the basic necessities. The balcony off of the living room and master bedroom had amazing views of the pool and gulf. The proximity to our favorite restaurant The Back Porch was right next door! This was a wonderful )
