Affectionately known as "The Dolls House"
Lovely newly renovated and furnished 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 living areas, no sulphur smell, very quiet neighborhood. Outside dining and BBQ . Pool table and table tennis set up in garage
Ideally suited to families only, no groups unless approved.
Handy to tourist attractions, skyline skyrides, agrodome, TeMatai, Canopy tours.
Boat ramp and jetty and trout fly fishing just 400 metres down the road. (Beaumont Rd) Right on the Cycle lane into Ngongotaha village and Rotorua city,.
Ideally suited to a family, no groups sorry.
Known as the 'sunny side of the mountain', beautiful Ngongotaha sits on the northwest shores of Lake Rotorua.
With a population of around 4,000, Ngongotaha has its own village feel and distinct character built around a strong sporting identity with successful soccer, rugby and netball teams, an emerging café culture, good schools, and clear sense of community.
The pretty village centre, lined with hanging baskets in full bloom, has a good range of conveniences including grocery stores, a pharmacy and a range of specialty stores which will leave you unable to resist a morning’s window shopping or impromptu purchase.
The quieter roads of Ngongotaha present safe cycling opportunities for road cyclists and for mountain bike enthusiasts or those wanting to commute to Rotorua CBD, the cycleway runs from the village centre all the way through to Lake Road, allowing a convenient route, away from traffic on a sealed path running alongside the railway line.
The many open views of the lake, open spaces and its relative seclusion from any major roads means Ngongotaha presents itself as an idyllic place to live and raise a family. A good number of playgrounds and reserves are dotted around the settlement, as well as an abundance of lakeside picnic spots where children can paddle safely in the shallows.
The Ngongotaha Rotorua Rail Trust Park is a miniature railway ride which is an absolute favourite with the kids, as is the trout hatchery which opens for children's fishing days; a fun opportunity for kids to learn to fly cast and catch their very first trout! It is the world-famous fishing perhaps, where the village is most revered. The Ngongotaha stream is the largest tributary to Lake Rotorua and during the spawning season has huge numbers of monster trout moving upstream from the lake to spawn.
Pool table and table tennis table for your enjoyment.,
