Luxury at its finest!

Beautiful penthouse on the 15th floor w/ huge oceanfront balcony providing panoramic ocean views. Floor to ceiling windows / 2500 square ft / granite countertops in kitchen and all bathrooms / large roman tub and flat screen tvs! Available by Luxury Beach Rentals, South Wind resort is located in the heart of the Grand Strand in a quiet family oriented section of the beach. This 4 bedroom penthouse suite on the 15 floor is oceanfront and offers spectacular views of the blue Atlantic. This condo offers two oceanfront master bedrooms, each with king beds and access to the huge oceanfront wrap around balcony. The master bath offers granite counter tops, double vanities, a large Jacuzzi tub, a separate shower and a walk-in closet as well as tile flooring. The third bedroom offers a queen bed and private bathroom. The fourth bedroom offers one queen bed and has a bathroom just outside the room also used as a common bath. Other features include smart TVs in every room, full sized washer and dryer, and fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, this condo creates a large and spacious stay for you and your guests. Activities onsite include the indoor and outdoor pool complex which includes a lazy river, 2 pools, 4 hot tubs and children’s splash pool all overlooking the beach along with a fitness center and tanning lawn.

Amazing property. Need to update photos to show the changes in the couches and to say there is now a pull out bed in the couch. Other than that fantastic.

Beautiful views and lots of room

We walked in a saw the spectacular views right away. We had our 3 adult kids and their wives and there was plenty of room. We enjoyed every minute of it. We had an issue with the toilet in one of the 4 bathrooms and management handled immediately. We would recommend this beautiful place for a relaxing, gorgeous views, and confy accommodations to anyone.

Great place!

We loved the penthouse! It had room for everyone, a great balcony, a great kitchen, and the washer and dryer were very convenient. We rented chairs and umbrellas on the beach and enjoyed the swimming pools and hot tubs. It was close to attractions and restaurants and we had a wonderful time.

Family Thanksmas at the oceanfront condo

Condo is beautiful, clean and spacious. 4 Large bedrooms with their own bathroom. Very large table with 8 chairs for great together time! Kitchen is well stocked for cooking and condo is close to all attractions. Communications with management were timely and excellent. Would most definitely stay here again.

Much needed break

We would definitely book this again, lots of space for our family. Property is close to everything, clean and quiet. Just as advertised. Beach, pools and amenities all great.

Spacious oceanfront condo

The condo was very spacious. The living room had plenty of seating for friends. Although we didn't need it, the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dinnerware and glassware. Very relaxing spot in the ocean and the beach were the best!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The vacation started on a very sour note when upon checking into the room and seeing paint cans and maintenance people in the room. Lisa from the rental company was very helpful assisting with alternate arrangements for the night. Other than the residual paint fumes, the remaining stay was nice.

Our 4 night stay

The first night 2 of the adults had diarrhea. Their toilet would not flush. Then the 2 teen girls came out & said that their toilet would not flush. The 2 are on the same side of the PH. Then my husband came out to say that our shower liner has mold. THE Shower curtain is dirty towards the bottom of it. The cleaners need to do better. It took 2 days of texting back & forth all day each day to get a plumber out. He said that he had been & he had not. Then I had to “have proof”. So I took a pick of the diarrhea in the toilet for 2 days. Which I was offended that I had to do that. They finally came!!! We bought Clorox to clean the toilet & shower liner. The men found a roach at the kitchen sink. It was 2 days of the 4 that we hope to never live again. The 4 people needing to run across the PH to use the bathroom was not always easy. We did enjoy the balcony being so large. We also enjoyed the table being large enough for the 8 people that stayed there. There are also enough plates, silverware, coffee pots, etc. in the kitchen that you can cook & serve what you need.

Nice unit overlooking the ocean

Great location, spacious apt, easy check in/check out... responsive management to all questions. Beach a few steps away. The feedback for improvement would be 1) updating the furniture and bathrooms. Most units I was researching in Myrtle looked the same in terms of interior... you could really stand out with a sleek, well designed interior layout and renovated bathrooms. 2) To be asked to strip the beds, wash all dishes, and gather all towels before check out , or pay a fine, is not what I expect when renting a penthouse. Overall, a good experience. With some modifications, this could be a go-to place when visiting Myrtle Beach.

Girls Trip (Sister-in-laws) Getaway

Came for a quick girls trip and enjoyed everything except the bedding. The only complaint that we all could agree on was that the sheets on the beds felt as if they had been starched. They were extremely stiff and almost crunchy to the touch. The inside of the comforters around the edging at the head of the bed didn’t look clean, like it had been used several times without washing. The reason I say this is due to discoloration noted there; yellowing of the fabric from skin/body secretions and sweat collecting over a long period of time of use without cleaning. When I got in bed, I didn’t want that part of the bedding to come in contact with my skin! Sleeping in a clean and cozy bed is essential to a good nights rest and aids in the relaxation process during that time. Overall, I would not choose this location again in the future due to this.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love the penthouse. Second time in this unit. It was dirty. Floors to walk on would turn bottoms of feet black. Surely not moped. Mirror in master had 💋 marks on them. Disppointed with cleansing that was done to prep PH. No stool provide in MB to get in bed very dangerous, had to purchase a srep stool.our 4th season at Southwind, first dissapointment.
