Gorgeous and comfortable
This property was gorgeous... the pictures used in the listing are definitely beautiful- but it was so much better in person. We slept in the bedroom on the main level and our 3 teenage boys each had their own room upstairs (an added bonus was that there was a bathroom for each of the boys). The boys enjoyed the Xbox at the end of the day while we relaxed on the huge couch... we seriously couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable place to stay. I don’t usually feel 100% “at ease” in rentals... but I did here. The gated entry to the neighborhood made me feel safe, the neighborhood was adorable and new (this place still has the new home smell ), the decor was perfect, and the beds were comfortable and clean.
The kitchen had enough pots and pans, dishes etc, but we never actually cooked while we were there. The outdoor pool in the back was clean and was a fun and private place to lay back and relax. Also, there is a half bath (toilet and sink) outside next to the pool.
We only made it to the main clubhouse for an hour, but I wish we had longer! The big pool at the clubhouse was gorgeous, the pool side bar was great (and you can order food from the main restaurant right at the poolside bar). The food was really good too.
I read some reviews about the main resort that mentioned it was a loud neighborhood, but we didn’t experience too much of that. What we heard was simply people outside with their family or friends enjoying their vacations and laughing, but it wasn’t excessive or bad at all. Maybe we just got lucky- but it was totally fine while we were there.
If I HAD to pick something that was a “could have been better”, it would be that the small private pool was very cold. Only one of our kids made it in and it was only for a short time.
This was one of my favorite places we’ve stayed on a vacation and one that I would definitely stay at again! 🥰
