Perfectly positioned in the flat streets of Coolum, just a comfortable walk to all the wonderful shops, cafes & beaches Coolum offers, is our beautifully styled beach house with huge brand new swimming pool, just waiting to help you relax and unwind !

Kick off your shoes and relax! Your holiday starts as soon as you arrive at Coastal Calm, offering beautiful, high quality furnishings and all the conveniences of your own home. The quality beds, linens and towels will ensure you’re able to rest and recharge ready to take on your day, whether it be a hike up nearby Mount Coolum, or a day relaxing on the sand of the Sunny Coast’s best beaches, or just lounging by the pool. The kitchen is equipped with all the tools you need for your culinary creations and features a chilled & filtered water dispensing fridge and dishwasher. Your comfort is ensured during the warmer months with ceiling fans in all rooms and R/C Air Conditioners in the main living and primary bedroom.
Enjoy dining by the pool on the front patio, plus the rear yard is fully fenced for your enjoyment and safety and features a cosy undercover area with BBQ. Leave the car at home and take an easy stroll to Coolum Beach’s best restaurants, cafes, shops (850m to coles) and of course the beach (850m to beach access)!

Perfect property for a family four, and dog, looking for a quiet but convenient location. The local dog beach was fantastic and the pool was beautiful (just a shame it is winter!). Would recommend!

Beautiful propert close to beach

Beautiful, comfortable home which is a short walk to the beach/dog beach. We spent our few days lounging by the pool and down at the beach with our dogs.

lovely property presentation

Could have been a little better, had there been secure parking off the street in the garage. Parking on the steepish driveway was not ideal. This issue let the property down a little in our overall rating.Certainly would consider staying again.

Coolum family stay

We throughly recommend this beautiful property. Beautiful and clean, everything you could possibly need for your stay was there. Close to the shops and beach but used the pool, so need to fight for a park down at the public car park. Great outdoor areas to sit and sip. Just a wonderful weekend stay.

Very peaceful Weekend Away

The property was very clean and well equipped, everything we needed was there. The back yard is quiet and private, and the heated pool was a huge bonus! Overall a peaceful weekend away - Just what we needed!

Total Family Treat

My partner and I, along with our fur baby stayed at this property for a short break and truly enjoyed ourselves. Nicola was great with welcoming our dog Betty and we really appreciated that. That along with a well presented and located property. She provided everything you could possibly need and the magnesium pool was awesome.. We will definitely stay here again..,,

Poolside tranquility

My family and I were thrilled with this property. The house was super clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped and very functional. Located close to a gorgeous beach and near a multitude of restaurants and stores. Of course, the highlight of our stay was the pool. The pool was perfect for my 8 year old with various ledges to relax on for the adults. I also commend Nicola for her responsiveness when we had any questions regarding the property. Highly recommend this home away from home.

Wonderful family getaway

Our stay was only a short 2 nights but we wished we could have stayed longer. Communication with property manager was great and always quick to reply. The property on arrival was so lovely and clean and exactly as per the photos. The pool is huge and the safety step the whole way around was great for our 2 little kids (2 & 5). There is a huge amount of kitchen supplies and the added touch of plastic cups, bowls, plates and cutlery for children. For our dog, there was a dog door and lush green grass. We spent the entire time in the pool and it was just wonderful! Thanks for having us

More good points than bad

Overall this was a nicely presented property with quality linen, kitchen provisions, and a very nice pool. Unfortunately a few issues brought my rating down a little. The kettle provided was dirty on the inside, and only after drinking a cup of tea which my husband made for me that tasted aweful, I discovered this brown grime inside the glass kettle. I gave it a good scrub and the issue was resolved, but this was a disappointing start to our stay. The location of the residence on the map on the website, makes it appear a lot closer to the beach than it actually is, which I was disappointed about, as I had expected the beach to be an easy short walk to the beach & shops which it wasn't. We had to drive every time we wanted to go to the beach, and shops, which was only a 2 min drive, but none the less not what I was expecting. It is a moderately busy street that the home is located on and the neighbours on either side are relatively close but it is still quite private. The driveway which you need to park in, (because you can't use the garage) is very steep, there is just enough room at the top of the short steep driveway to fit a small car on a reasonably level area to unload, but if you have a medium to large car, it is a bit awkward getting in and out of the vehicle and unloading luggage on the slope. I think it would greatly enhance the appeal of the property if the car garage was included with the accommodation. I also felt it unusual, not knowing the actual address of the property 48 hours prior to our stay, and how to access it only 24hrs prior to arrival. However the keypad access to the property at the front door was great, and meant we didn't have to worry about keys. We really loved the pool, which was clean and beautifully lit at night. I found the King bed a little too firm for my liking, but the linen was clean and nice quality and the rooms were a comfortable size. We appreciated the little extras in the pantry to make the stay more like home. The teabags provided were not sealed, they were just sitting out on a tray, which for me, is a bit of a hygiene issue and compromises and freshness/quality of the tea also, so we didn't use them. I'd suggest that Teabags in envelopes be provided. Laundry provisions, and pool towel were provided which was great, as well as a stick vacuum for quick clean ups. All up we had a nice stay, and would recommend this home to others.
