Our family cottage is a short 5 minute boat ride from a public boat launch. The open concept pine accented living room/ dining area offers a view of the lake just steps away. The sunroom is a place to gather in the evenings or perhaps spend a rainy day reading. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need. Fridge, stove, freezer, microwave and and array of spices and condiments you don't have to bring with you. Fish off the dock, sit by the campfire or explore this beautiful 40 mile waterway known as the Pickerel River. You must have your own boat.

Spectacular location

Beautiful cottage in an amazing location. Clean and all the things you need for an extended stay. Description is spot on. Had a fantastic week. Absolutely love the view off the deck. You just cant get any better.

Great spot. Very clean. Lots of room. Wonderful wildlife - eagles, owls, loons, not to mention pike and bass. Easy access to entire lake. Very nice BBQ and fire pit. No neighbours. All you could ever need to relax and enjoy a vacation.

Secluded retreat!

You want quiet and secluded? Look no further! Very clean property, lots of space and grounds to explore. Fishing is excellent and boating was amazing! Don’t think we fished the same area twice, many many spots to explore! The area is very unique! Owners welcomed us with open arms onto their property and definitely will come back again!

This property was better than we hoped for. Owners were wonderful and very accommodating. If you want a beautiful view, peaceful lake that is perfect for swimming, this is the one.

My husband and I purchased this 5 acre lot back in 1985. Over the years we built the cottage, garage, sleep cabin, boathouse and another cabin on the backside of the property where it faces west. I have been selling real estate in the North Bay area for 33 years and my husband is a retired police officer. We raised our son and daughter here and now our grandchildren are enjoying this little bit of paradise.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

This property is a little different from the "typical" drive to cottage. It is only accessible by boat and there is complete privacy all around. Morning coffee on the dock watching the sun come up is one of my favourite things do do. Even rainy days reading a book in the sunroom is quite relaxing and peaceful. Fishing on this river system is awesome and there is so much to see and explore. With 40 miles of waterway, there is plenty of bays and inlets and crown land to stop and have a shore lunch. There are some neat little back lakes that you can portage to and try a fishing line there.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Although we do have satelite TV and WiFi, getting away from the noise of the City is
a real joy. Just to be able to unwind in nature and still have the comforts of a home.
Because this is our own family cottage, I leave the kitchen fairly well stocked with spices, condiments etc. We would love to have our guests enjoy this place as much as we do.
