Dune Dayz is a cute, pet-friendly beach house with old-school charm situated in the soundside community of Old Nags Head Cove. Bring your beach toys or rent some while you're here to take advantage of the canals and the sound that are perfect for paddleboarding and kayaking.

Dune Dayz features an open concept layout in the living and kitchen area. There's also a great outdoor space with plenty of room on the deck and a backyard for relaxing or playing games. Enjoy the nearby beaches, local restaurants, unique shops, Jockey's Ridge State Park, and the many other local attractions that the OBX has to offer.

Overall great experience however some things could be worked on. It was not super clean when we arrived. Dishwasher full of dishes. There were dirty clothes left in bedrooms and in drawers. Water bottles were left on the kitchen counters. Bed in main bedroom was so hard it was hard to sleep. Also people cut through the yard when walking both day and night which was kind of weird. I would also want families with small children to know that cars speed through the neighborhood so please be careful.

Bad camp for the bachelor party

We needed a home base for the guys to hang out and this place was perfect. It had what we needed and the location was close to most everything .

The property is centrally located to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. The house is spacious with three bedrooms. It’s also an added bonus that dogs are allowed on the property. One downfall is the yard has mini cactus throughout it, as well as small hard spiky balls that latch onto clothing and the bottom of shoes (or paws). I stepped on one the front night in the house and it took awhile to get it removed from the bottom of my foot. The only other concern is the floor/carpet in the bedroom with the single bed. While setting up the bed for one of my kids, it smelled of pet urine. It was only noticeable from the bed that pulls out and is situated closer to the ground. Overall though, it was easy to check-in and out with having our own code. Parking was great for one vehicle, more could fit but we only traveled with one.

Great location, cute updated rental.

We enjoyed ourselves here. The place was clean but needs pest control services. The kitchen was overrun with sugar ants. Also, some basic amenities would help. We left coffee filters and salt and pepper for future guests but also had to pick up hand soap, and other basic supplies.

Beach trip 2021

The prosperity was very good and it was nice and clean. We were at the beach and I wish it was located closer to the beach . Nothing wrong with the house only wish it was n the beach
