Enjoyed our stay. Even tho the weather did not cooperate, the cottage was cozy. It was clean and comfy. Great location! Would definitely stay again.

Several adult friends had a spectacular stay at Hootie for a memorable 4th of July weekend. So close to the beach and so much to see & do made for a great vacation!

We had a relaxing week at the beach. Weather not great but we still rode bikes several days. Beds comfortable, kitchen well stocked, easy walk to beach, lifeguard right next door!

First time in the Outer Banks

We had a wonderful time staying in the Hootie and the Bluefish cottage. Loved the private beach access. Very cozy little cottage.

No beach view, kitchen floor was sticky /dirty, nats all over, bathroom wall broken/ falling apart, kitchen cabinets were sticky/dirty to touch. The host was pleasant, gave us sheets and towels as we forgot to bring them. I appreciate his kindness.

Prime location!

The long weekend stay at Hootie and blue fish was amazing! The location is great and just a few steps away from the beach! The cottage is clean and have a nice kitchen for cooking! A great choice if you plan for a family trip to OBX!

Hidden Gem!

We had a fantastic week! The beach is so close! Up a few stairs and over the sand dune to the beach. Perfect location. Our dog Mac had a great time. He even made some friends. We met David. He is the kindest gentleman. We hung out in the front of our place which we called “ Manson Alley” and met some really nice people. So many restaurants close. Cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We had so much fun! Can’t wait to go back!!

4th July vacation

Great cozy right off beach cottage. Easy access to the beach and all attractions. Owner checked with us upon arrival was very friendly and told us to make him aware of any problems we might encounter (there were none).

Hootie is a hoot

We rented the cottage for 5 days and brought our pup along. The place was clean and well stocked with cleaning supplies and toiletries. The owner even left a treat bag for our dog. We enjoyed our stay at this property and the location.

We really like this property having previously stayed there last November. For my husband and I and one dog it’s the perfect size and location is great. Can’t imagine staying anywhere else in OBX.

Ocean Getaway

My favorite part of this property is its vicinity to the beach!! Literally steps away and you can dip your toes in the ocean and place your feet in the beautiful sandy beaches!! Love it here!!! My favorite place in Nags Head. ❤️ Allison
