Wonderful Oceanfront getaway

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this penthouse on the beach. The accommodations were spacious for our family of 5 and the ocean views were incredible. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. The short walk to the beach was so convenient and the beach service (umbrella and chairs setup) everyday was an added bonus! The only downfall was construction on the three towers. While ours was almost complete, there were a couple of mornings we woke to scaffolding in front of the balcony, which is to be expected when renovations are necessary. This also lent to the property not being nearly landscaped as well. Overall it was a perfect vacation destination for our family.

Excellent Family Vacation

We had an amazing stay. The views were absolutely gorgeous. It was a perfect space for our family. Beds were comfortable. Only downfall was that construction was going on with the towers but it didn't impact our stay or the unit.

Great view-Owner Super Responsive

We love Shoreline Towers - have rented here several times. They're undergoing a massive renovation, so if interruption from construction will bug you just wait until it's done. Owners have no control over construction activities and things change constantly, so your unit may be affected in spite of what your owner or the property manager says, and their best intentions. Once renovation is done, there is no reason to stay away from this property. Location is fantastic, beach is lovely, beach rental crew is great, huge pool that is heated year-round. Nothing bad to say about it at all. This unit in particular is super spacious with tons of windows and a great view. We weren't able to really use the balcony because of construction but it will be awesome when construction is done. View is exactly as pictured online, and the ability to open up the storm doors will be super cool. Owner was super responsive and helpful with the very few issues we contacted him about. We liked the fact that they stocked the condo with lots of toiletries and bathroom supplies - it was a nice touch. Only thing that would keep us from renting again, and the reason we took off a star, was the two extra bedrooms had no window treatments. They have floor-to-ceiling windows, so there was way too much light coming in at night for the kids to sleep well. During the day there were constantly construction workers outside their windows so they didn't feel comfortable taking a nap, getting dressed in the rooms, etc. That won't be a problem once construction is done, but the light coming into the rooms would be an issue for those who can't sleep with a lot of light. Otherwise everything is exactly as pictured and we had everything we needed!

VRBO Disaster

This property was terribly misrepresented! Entire complex is under major construction. Two flat tires from nails and screws in the parking lot. Asked to evacuate premises mid-stay because our condo was scheduled for renovation after I paid for a two weeks. This is just a few of the many disappointments with this property. Even more disappointing is VRBO didn’t help at all so far with relocating or reimbursements. (I will update if something changes.) It was up to me to find new accommodations out of pocket. The good news is we finished our family vacation at a very nice condo with an amazing management representative. I will NEVER use VRBO again!!

Beautiful view, but the balcony was flooded due to construction. Looks like a short walk to the beach but because of the way beach access is set up, it's quite a walk around the building before you can access beach. Overall a nice stay.

Great family trip.

The property is going under a major construction so there are contractors everywhere. The contractors are very respectful of the patrons . I would have liked to have been told of the construction prior to our reservations.

Our Stay

Check in was easy, the whole property is under construction so walking to the beach you had to go all the way around the building. The pool is not close to towers 1 and 2.

The BEST views in Destin!!!!

We very much enjoyed our nine day stay here. The views were amazing. It is in a great location. We had easy access to a grocery and target. Everything else was close by. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We look forward for to renting this property in the future.

Condo could have been a little cleaner but we loved the space and the view. Fridge needs work.

All and all it was a great place to stay. The rental process was easy and the check in process was awesome. Could not have asked for a nicer host. He was very quick to send information confirming our stay and was very quick to answer my emails.

Beautiful View

Beautiful view but needs some major organizing and cleaning out of owners stuff. Could hardly put anything in the closets because they were crammed with old bedspreads, lamps etc. The plug outlet by the Master bed was hanging out with wires showing. The linens and towels were extremely old. Some had holes in them. The washcloth looked liked something I would wash my car with. The kitchen was very disorganized with items just thrown in drawers or cabinets. The laundry room shelves were backed with junk. No where to store anything. The refrig doesn’t shut good, doors need adjusting. The coffee maker does mot turn off automatically, so you MUST remember to turn off. I believe I left it cleaner and organized then it was when I got that. There is major construction on all the buildings, so a lot of noise and you can not park in a covered spot as advertised. There was an issue with the beach people in charge of the umbrellas that come with the rental. I had a good time but it’s because I was with girlfriends and we were on the beach. If it had rained it would not had been great cooped up in this condo. Positive side is the view is absolutely beautiful. This condo could be over the top Beautiful if taking the initiative.

Family Fall Break

Amazing views from balcony. Only place I have ever been, where you can watch the sunrise, and sunset over the water unencumbered by any buildings. Just beautiful gulf view.

Space for everyone.

We brought two of our children 7, and 13. This spacious condo allowed for each of us to unwind in our own space after a fun day at the beach or adventure. The balcony was one of my favorite features which also opens into the master so in the morning I would use that door to not wake the kids. My husband and I were able to enjoy the sunrise while drinking our coffee on each morning before the kids woke up. The washer and dryer was a life saver! We will be staying again.

Loved it!

Went on a weekend getaway to Destin before we ventured off to meet friends and we absolutely loved this condo! No issues with parking, easy access to the beach! It was comfortable and had a great layout and plenty of room! We will be back!
