Greatest River View!

Loved our stay, for the 2nd year in a row. The view from the deck is stunning. The pier is nice and big and the swimming is perfect. The kitchen is well stocked.

Favorite river house to date.

We do a yearly friends trip to the RR, and this was our favorite spot yet. Everything was easy about checking in and out. The management company is friendly and helpful. The biggest selling point for us was the large dock and river toys. We hope to return next year.

Best river rental

This rental is one of the best on the river, works well for families but not elderly, lots of stairs to the dock , the beds are super comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to make ANY meal , big frig and freezer, lots of river toys and floats , we only dined out once in town at Dawn Ranch for our 5 day stay , I’ll be back as soon as I can , no need to go to Tahoe anymore

We can’t wait to come back!

We had a great stay with two children under the age of 5 and dogs. We look forward to coming back in warmer weather when we can take advantage of all the water rec toys available. There was an ant problem they are trying to remedy but that can be expected. Thank you for a wonderful time!

We had a lovely time relaxing and fishing in the river! The house is very accommodating for families. It is an older property with unique charm. Rustic and set back in time. Updated bathrooms a plus. New partial flooring. Super comfy beds! Well stocked kitchen. You cant beat the view!

Wonderful house on the river

We had a wonderful vacation at this house. The pier is nice and large, with lots of sun, but also two umbrellas for shade, and plenty of chairs. The swimming was great, nice and deep (although that might vary from year to year). The view of the river from the deck is spectacular, and it's also nice to be able to see the pier from the deck, which is not always the case with other houses on the river. The house itself is very nice and the kitchen is well stocked. Thank you for a very nice stay!

Great Cabin on the River

We loved our stay on the Russian River. The house was very spacious for 7 women, beds were comfortable and the deck was perfect. The house was clean, well stocked in the kitchen and lots of towels (beach & bath). The basement was full of floaties which was great since it was a very warm weekend. The kitchen is a bit small and dated but reminded us of a rustic cabin. Parking is limited but worked for us with 3 cars.

Too many stairs and poor maintenance

This is NOT a place for anyone with mobility problems. The ad should include pictures of the number of stairs into and out of the house - and down to the river. The walkway from the house to the river is dangerous. There isn't anything -except slippery grass - from the house to the first landing with stairs. I was the only one who dared going down to the dock and swimming. The swimming ladders are coated with river slime - which made getting out of the river a real challenge. The "entertainment" was ridiculous. The directions were for a Vizio TV. There is a Samsung at the house. It took us far too much time to figure out how to play DVDs as there weren't any directions or remote. Fortunately one of us knew how to do that thru the Xbox!?!? The house needs work. The front fencing is rotting. The back deck should at least be sanded. I had to buy tweezers to get the splinters out of my feet. There are dings in the sheetrock, gouges and scrapes in the paint. I have used VRBO - and this is the first time I have been disappointed. I would give the place a C+ It would be lower if you didn't have a decent cleaning crew. And then there was

Family of 6 stayed here for one week

Our stay at the Riverview home was very enjoyable. With three young children who love the water and adults who wanted to relax and be near the children, this was a perfect setup. House was very clean, charming and had lots of bedroom space. Good location to drive to Rio Nido, Monte Rio, Duncan Mills, and Armstrong Woods. The older children were able to walk into Guernville on a back road parallel to River Road. Bikes, canoe and water toys were a very nice addition to our stay. A bit of a walk down the hill to the river and back and not for someone with bad knees. We would come back again!

Wondergul property between a forrest and the Russian River!

Went for the wine tasting but there were so many more activities. Great location. View overlooked the Russian River. Quite and restfull. Terrific wineries close by.

We are Russian River Vacation Homes, a part of D&G Equity Management, Inc., a family owned and locally owned/operated property management company.

Our Story:
In 1980, D&G founders and owners Michael and Patty saw a need in the area for habitable, affordable housing. At that time, many of the little cabins along the Russian River, originally built as summer cabins, were unsuitable for year-round occupancy. D&G assisted property owners with fixing up and renting their cabins. As the largest property management company in western Sonoma County, D&G Equity Management continues to be a staple in the Russian River community.

Russian River Vacation Homes is an off-shoot of D&G. One fine day in 1985, Michael's client, Bob, asked "Hey Mike, can you rent my cabin out just for the week or weekend instead of by the month?" Michael said "Sure!" and Russian River Vacation Homes was born. As renting vacation rentals became more popular, Russian River Vacation Homes grew into a full-time business with its own office. Today, Russian River Vacation Homes professionally manages over 60 high-quality vacation rentals.

Guerneville is also home to the amazing Armstrong Woods, and it's just a quick drive out to the coast! Guerneville is a fun and free spirited town that makes for a great getaway!
