Welcome to Palazzo Marzino (Vacation Rental License #LIC23-0197).

This Italian-inspired villa features 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, offering an epic experience in wine country. After driving up the steep incline of Summit Avenue, you will be greeted by incredible views of the Russian River Valley and a modern-day castle filled with globally sourced art.
Arrival and Entry:
Once inside the iron gate, descend the garden stairs to the large wooden front door. The key is located in a lockbox to the right of the doorway (code provided separately). If you are arriving in a Tesla, a charger is available in the garage.
Living Spaces:
The 2,400 sq. ft. home is spread across two levels. The upper level includes a central living area, a dining area, a full bathroom, and a kitchen with its own deck overlooking the river valley. The lower level features a sitting room that opens to the rear patio, outdoor dining area, and pool.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
All bedrooms are located on the lower level:
- Primary Suite: King-size bed with an ensuite full bath (shower). - Russian River View Room: Queen-size bed with panoramic views. - Private Bedroom: Queen-size bed located at the back of the house. - Hallway Bath: Full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. - Upper Level Bath: Additional bathroom with a shower.
Amenities
- Pool & Hot Tub:
The pool is open year-round and is solar-heated from May to October (weather dependent, typically 76 degrees). Please use caution near the steep drop-off at the pool terrace. A hot tub with forest views is also located on the lower deck.
-Climate Control: Central heat, air conditioning, and five gas fireplaces.
- Kitchen & Laundry: Full kitchen with gas stove, dishwasher, and ice maker. A washer and dryer are located in the garage.
- Technology: Wi-Fi, landline, and five TVs with cable/streaming capabilities.
- Linens: One set of bath towels and one pool towel are provided per person. Please bring your own beach towels and toiletries.

Property Policies
- Supervision: Due to the fine art and materials throughout the home, children under 10 must be supervised at all times.
- Safety: Door chimes are installed per county law for pool awareness. An exterior camera monitors the driveway only.
- Parking: Off-street parking is available for two cars.
- Pets: Sorry, no pets are allowed.

Please adhere to the following local ordinances:
- Quiet hours are 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM.
- No outdoor amplified sound or music is permitted at any time.
- Maximum occupancy is 6 adults and 2 cars.
- No parties, weddings, or events.
- No outdoor wood-burning firepits, solid materials, or fireworks.

Beautiful location among the redwoods. Full equipped kitchen, great balcony views, comfy beds, and plenty of room for 6 people. Hot tub and pool were such a treat!

Place was super unique and filled with amazing artifacts. Location is great as well. Hot tub and pool were fabulous and TV’s and fireplaces in every room. Def bring extra blankets and towels though!

Palazo Marzino is filled with worldwide artistic treasures not to be seen too often. These unique pieces were chosen by the property owner who designed the home. The current owners, second in line to the home, wished to honor its rich history by leaving all as is. Glad to hear you enjoyed the home's additional amenities. Regarding the suggestion to bring more blankets and towels, we do store additional blankets in the downstairs hall cabinets and include laundry detergent and dryer sheets for our guests use if they choose to wash the bath towels and pool towels provided. Thanks again for staying with us!

Beautiful property! We were a little overwhelmed with the one lane road driving up the hill to the property but that's the price you pay to get the beautiful views above the river. We loved getting in the hot tub and my husband loved the bed - said it was the best sleep he's gotten in a long time! We thoroughly enjoyed out stay and can definitely recommend the property.

We just stayed at this property for a three day weekend. It is exactly as shown in the photographs. The beds are all comfortable and the property was very clean. The host was a responsive when we had any questions and I would highly recommend this place for a family or three couples.

Palazzo Marzino is definitely not your typical vacation rental in Guerneville. It has only had two owners, including the original builder who designed it after his love of Italian architecture. The home was beautiful and fun. We loved hanging out in the vaulted living room and enjoyed the hot tub. This was a wonderful place to stay but I do recommend having a car with you. It was a bit challenging to get rides into town. Overall would stay again!

We were a group of three women friends wanting to take in the sites of the surrounding area. The house was filled with art and unique objects throughtout the home to admire and enjoy. This was not a winetasting tour for us, instead we drove to Mendicino, Sonoma, Hearlsburg to explore the cities and to see the beautiful coast and the majestic redwoods along the way. We found the road to the house to be a challenge because it is windy and steep but you do get used to it after a few trips. The house was well equipped with pretty much anything that you would need if you were spending alot of time there. We used the hot tub, which is always running and very warm and inviting. Each bedroom has a fireplace if you should be cold during your stay. The view of the Russian River was exceptional and calming. It was a peaceful place to stay. We would recommend the tasting menu at The Lodge at Dawn Ranch, supurb food and service at a reasonable price, it was very special.We did not use the swimming pool this trip because the weather was not warm enough when we were there. The host was very helpful when we had questions. There is winding staircase to the bedrooms so you will need to have someone strong to take your bags to the rooms if possible. It was a perfect location for us and we were very happy to have found this rental.

Absolutely amazing house. Watch the sun rise from just about every part of the house, even the shower! The views from hot tub are fabulous. The house decor was really cool. Will definitely be back!

Great spot for a relaxing weekend!

I spent the long weekend at the Palazzo and loved it! Very relaxing, great location, would stay here again!

Lovely property with an amazing view. Everyone had a wonderful time and took advantage of the well maintained hot tub and pool (both were amazing)!

I truly enjoy hosting visitors in the Russian River area, a place I have called home all my life. My goal is for every guest to leave with a smile and consider returning for a future stay.

Managing a home in Guerneville with such a stunning view of the Russian River provides a wonderful opportunity for reflection while visiting Palazzo Marzino. Once at the top of Summit Avenue, the unobstructed river views, the pool, and the hot tub make it difficult to ever want to leave.

Furthermore, the property owners are truly remarkable individuals. Their dedicated advocacy for animal rights is inspiring, and I am proud to call them my friends.
