Beautiful Angel Fire Get Away

This property is absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect spot to spend a weekend with extended family. Previous reviews stated the oven was broken which was a concern but upon arrival there was a note stating a new oven had just been installed. Everything on this property was in working order and we had a wonderful time sitting on the deck enjoying nature, playing pool and ping pong in the game room, roasting marshmallows in the fire put and relaxing in the hot tub.This property has it all! We will definitely be coming back.

A few things you need to know..

The property is peaceful with plenty of room for everyone. You must have 4x4 to get here in winter. The plow came through and put a 3 ft wall in front of the driveway so be aware. The property is maybe 10 minutes from the resort. The positives are: plenty of hot water, comfortable beds, tons of firewood, clean, and the hot tub worked and was great. The kitchen was stocked as well. The negatives: the property was advertised to have a 2 car garage however the garage was locked and in the welcome binder it stated the garage was not to be used. The oven door is still broken and does not seal. This was listed in August but it still isn’t fixed. Don’t bring anything to bake bc you have to hold the door. The kitchen faucet is usable but hardly any water pressure. We used the laundry sink for kitchen needs. We have a customer service order in with Evolve to have these issues addressed.

Family vacation

Home was beautiful and very spacious. All the beds were comfortable. Nice distance from the main highway. We were very disappointed in the hot water system. It is hot water on demand and did not work properly. We did not have enough hot water to shower, or do dishes. It would work and then turn ice cold. The oven did not work properly either. We followed the instructions in the book, however the Velcro strap was missing and the oven did not close all the way which then lower the temperature. For the amount of money we paid for our vacation, this was upsetting

Spacious Cabin

This cabin was beautiful and spacious for our family and friends. It was very comfortable and allowed us all to sit and visit in both the living areas and the kitchen. There was plenty of room for all of us to enjoy our vacation! We will certainly try to stay here again.

Great property!

This is a beautiful home with lots of room and spectacular surroundings. As some others mentioned, the kitchen could use more pans, serving bowls, etc. There aren't many places to eat nearby so having a well equipped kitchen is important. We had a couple of other issues but when we contacted the manager she sent someone out to take care of it. We would love to stay there again, but hopefully the kitchen needs will be addressed!

Birthday getaway

We loved our stay in the beautiful Angel Fire home. Very spacious and comfortable. We do agree a 4- wheel drive would be needed in any type of winter weather. The only issues we had were the slowness of hot water in the kitchen, to at times non existent. Hot tub only comfortable fits 3 adults. House is beautiful in a gorgeous location, clean and very comfortable.

Amazing home!

Absolutely loved staying at the new Grand Angel Fire retreat, hands down one of the best places we’ve stayed in Angel Fire, the location is about 6 miles out of Angel fire but so worth it, such a beautiful home and plenty of privacy. Will definitely come back and stay here again!

Beautiful Home

Beautiful home with a view of the mountain lots of room for our party of 6, it is not air conditioned per listing just have to open the windows which even in August was mostly ok, sent an email to the property manager but never got a response, kitchen is nice and big but the high end oven is closed with Velcro straps, appliances need some attention, we like to cook nice breakfast while on vacation but the cooking pots and pans and other dish ware was limited. Overall lovely home just needs a few things fixed. Would stay again if ever in the area.

Peace & quiet at its best

This home is large with plenty of room to spread out. There are a few homes nearby, but if you’re looking for a quiet & relaxing setting this is it. Everything in the home was in working order and clean. Very short drive to the golf course (if you’ve never played here it’s a beautiful layout.) The house has some beautiful interior wood work. As the temperature changes the timbers tend to make a knocking/popping sound. Usually during sundown. This only reminded me to admire the architecture. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Great home

This is a great home for multiple families or large groups. Needs a little TLC but we enjoyed the stay overall. Definitely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get to the home if there is snow. The neighborhood is last to get plowed.

Angel Fire Home

We loved this beautiful home, and was perfect for our family. It is about a 10 minute drive to the slopes, but it is in such a beautiful setting that we enjoyed the views. It had every amenity we could possibly need. Cindy and Curtis were very helpful and answered our questions as needed. We would definitely rent this home again in Angel Fire.

Great Mountain Getaway for the Family

We've stayed at numerous rental homes thru the years and this one was the best. When a property is even better than advertised, you want to brag on it. This is one of those places! The house was super clean and in good working condition. The instructions were well written and easy to follow. The views are INCREDIBLE, and it doesn't hurt that the weather was absolutely amazing! There is great hiking nearby and the shop owners in Angel Fire were very friendly. We would definitely consider returning to this property in the future, if possible. Thanks for helping to create some great lasting memories.

Had an amazing week!!!

We had a great time at this house! Our family fit just right there was 7 of us. There was a nice bed and bathroom for everyone!! One morning we woke to a herd of elk around the whole house!!! The only issue was they were very limited on pots and pans bowls ect.. We had to go buy a skillet to cook with.

Perfect Mountain Escape

You will only be disappointed you did not stay that one extra day.

This is our first experience renting anything other than a Hotel room for vacation stays. Although we went on 2 great hiking expeditions, this home is so beautiful, there is no need to even leave it. The pool table, the hot tub, the huge TVs, the fire pit on the patio, the ping pong table, and the view! What else can you ask for? If I could sum up the decor of the home and ambiance of the place in one word is ..... Classy. You will not be disappointed.

Enchanting home along Enchanted Circle

The home was amazing! It had everything you could need/want and more. Located in a beautiful wooded area, the property was both scenic and private. If outdoors isn't your thing, there was plenty to keep you occupied inside: pool/ping pong table, tv/satellite, a gym room with exercise equipment, a hot tub just off the master bedroom, a luxurious kitchen/dining area to cook and enjoy eating, a super large loft area to read, do puzzles or just enjoy some quiet time. The home manager was easy to get a hold of, and the owner even personally called me just to make sure the stay was satisfactory. The home was perfect size for family retreat. We (my family) all agreed we would love to stay again. I highly recommend this stay!
