Welcome to our light, modern, comfortable home with an outdoor seating area and fully fenced backyard. All the modern conveniences are here and such a great location to both beaches - surf and harbour, shops, golf courses, hot pools, cafes and restaurants. This is the perfect location for a family holiday - summer or escaping winter.
The beautiful sandy beach of Mount Maunganui is a 5 minute stroll away. Check out the famous surf, enjoy a relaxing beach walk, walk around and/or up the Mount (Mauao) or explore the shops, cafes and bars.
The sports ground "Blake Park" is located at the end of the street, so very close if you have sports events in the area. So, our beach house is waiting for you to make memories at.

Great stay! The house was very comfortable and well equipped, and the location was excellent. It was very kid-friendly, which made our stay even better. We loved the short strolls to the beach and how complete the house was, everything we needed was there. Communication with the owners was excellent throughout our stay. We would happily return!

We loved our stay at the Tay St Beach House. It is close to the beach, and walking distance to the Mount for shopping and restaurants. We loved the Alpino restaurant. The home is very comfortable, great kitchen, excellent beds and all the amenities that we desire. Helen is a great host. I would highly recommend staying here. We will be back.

Aloha Maunganui!

This was a tremendous stay in Maunganui! Everything the property owners promised were available and the house was very clean and well maintained. From the carpeted garage to the air conditioners in each living space, the house was comfortable as advertised. We also enjoyed the outdoor space and had the chance to use the gas grill which made a great meal! The location was ideal, just off the main streets and truly a 5-minute walk from the beach. Helen and Bryan communicated so well prior, during, and even after our stay to make sure our stay went smoothly. We all recommended this beautiful and well located property for a stay to anyone considering the Maunganui/Tauranga area for your next magical visit to Aotearoa!Mahalo for the great stay! Perfect pick

My family and I spent 10 days at this property with a mix of work and holiday activity. It was perfectly set up for what we needed and created a wonderful family environment. Helen was a phenomenal host, happy to help with anything we needed. 10/10 experience!

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, tidy, and good heating to keep us warm in the winter month that we stayed. Great location close to everything… no complaints at all. Property owner left us welcoming gifts and was always on hand if we had any queries. Will return.

Satisfaction Guaranteed

This House is very nice, modern, clean and comfortable. The location is a 5 min walk to the Beach and very popular Tay St Coffee Shop. This beautiful house exceeded our expectations. We will definitely book it again and recommend it to our friends and family. One very small correction that could help is the VRBO location which calls the house TAY STREET BEACH VIBE when in fact it's on Valley Rd.

Good location

Place was clean and tidy. 10 mins walk to the beach. Our daughter enjoyed the puzzles and beach toys. 2 minute drive to supermarket and shops. Good showers. Internal access to the garage. Racks to hang clothes on. Fully equipped kitchen with large fridge.

Perfect place for our stay

Wonderful home

The home is exactly as described, very fresh, up-to-date and super clean. We loved the ten minute walk to the amazing beach and the general vibe of the area, as well as the ability to simply hang out and read in the lovely back yard. Would absolutely recommend this home to anyone.

Great house for a family holiday

We had a great stay with our children and the grandparents. House had everything we needed and suited us well. Nice short walk to the beach next to the lifeguard tower. Supermarket also a walk or short drive away!
