We recently stayed here because our family rented a house in the same resort. For my husband and I it was perfect. We had a little hard time finding unit . We didn’t realize you had to go down two sets of stairs. There are plenty of beds. But only one bathroom. But plenty of hot water. No problem there. The host quickly responded to any issues or questions. We had a wonderful time! Make sure you eat at Stoners on the square. During off season the restaurants at the resort are closed. Downtown Mercersburg has wonderful historic shops and restaurants.

Best ski condo!

This property is amazing. It has the BEST location! Walk right down the hill to the bunny slope lift, rentals, bar/restaurants and lodge. Everything is so close and convenient. The condo itself is well decorated and has it all! Loved playing shuffleboard, watching tv by the warm fireplace, the outdoor firepit and hanging with friends at the beautiful dining table. Highly recommend!

It was a nice place, but if you are using the kitchen it’s hard to find everything you need. There wasn’t enough toilet paper and wash clothes for 12 people.

Such potential

This condo has the potential to be an excellent stay but fell short in a few areas.Positives: The property is inviting, well-decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with two phone charging stations, creating a comfortable atmosphere.Areas for Improvement: The back glass door is deteriorating and difficult to open. The single bathroom is inadequate for groups larger than a few people. A musty odor lingered due to laundry left in the washer and dryer from previous guests. Lastly, the Whitetail Resort website is misleading—there are no activities available during the off-season, as the mountain is closed.

From the owner: "Hi Michael, Thanks for your feedback. The freezer does make ice, and we used it recently, but we'll double-check to ensure everything is working as expected. Just in case, we’ll also add some extra ice trays for backup. It appears that the microwave handle may have been damaged during a recent stay, so we’ll replace it promptly to ensure everything is in proper working order. As for the weather, we wish we could control that too! The summer heat can be intense, but the good news is that fall is just around the corner, bringing cooler, more comfortable days soon. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there’s anything else we can assist with; we’re always happy to help make your stay even better."

Nice, clean property. Perfect for what we needed as a jumping off point to explore the area.

Nice, clean property. Perfect for what we needed as a jumping off point to explore the area. We didn’t use any of the resort amenities, so we can’t speak for that part of this property. We did see a small fishing pond, slopes, and a hot tub - but went exploring with our limited time. It’s about an hour from Gettysburg, and has a few really neat state parks in the area. Visiting in the fall, we thoroughly enjoyed several fall festivals and the changing colors of the trees in the area. All-in-all it was a very pleasant visit. We would definitely consider renting it again if our travels bring us back to this area.

Great place!

Chrystina was a wonderful host. She was accommodating to our request and very responsive with any of our questions. The place was clean, with plenty of towels, dishes, pots/pans, and other household items. The access to the slopes was easy and very close making so we could come and go as we pleased. Had a great time and would highly recommend this place.
