Put some money back into your property.

Great location, the place is tired and needs to be cleaned up and updated. Get rid of the broken brooms and other items around the deck. Neighbors dogs kept coming over, three dogs at a time. My wife is afraid of dogs. Spiders all over the main entrance.

Great place to enjoy the lake!

We loved this house and all the amenities! So nice that they provided kayaks, a canoe, a lily pad and life jackets! The property manager was very responsive & helpful. We really appreciate that.

Great location

The house was perfect for our stay. The location was ideal for the places we wanted to visit on the lake and had a grocery store nearby. The layout of the house was nice also, but the kids bedroom was up in the loft and not enclosed with a door. Thankfully the wall AC unit fan helped drown out noise and kept them sleeping okay. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck and included K cups for the Keurig.

Perfect Girls Getaway

A bit intimidating coming down the very steep road and driveway, but arrived at a beautiful home on a private beach with all the right amenities. We had a fabulous time!

Relaxing weekend away

Overall this was a wonderful weekend away and I would definitely stay here again. The property was clean and the check-in and out processes were very easy. The online listing did not do the place justice. It was very nice with a beautiful view to the lake. We stayed off-season, so we especially appreciated the beach access to sit by the water. The owners took special care to think of all of the little things that you might forget when going to stay at a vacation rental. Lots of extra little touches in the kitchen area especially.

clean, quiet, and very charming

What a wonderful way to spend a few days! The house was so clean and decorated so nicely. The carpet was nice and clean, too. The weather was quite cold the first day but we had so many windows to see lake. The second day was much warmer so we enjoyed sitting outside. The outdoor furniture was clean so we didn't need to worry about getting dirty clothes when sitting down. We would definitely return.

Amazing Property All the Way Around

Everything was beautiful. Jenny was so attentive and helpful from the time we booked until the time we left the property. We literally did not want or need for anything. The house was stocked all the way around. Will definitely visit again.

Long weekend getaway with best friends

This home was amazing! Everything was clean and comfortable. (the living room furniture could use some cleaning/sprucing up, but not terrible) We had everything we needed. We all traveled with our own toiletries but it was nice to see they provided items if you forgot anything. We used the fire pit on two nights. It's so relaxing to sit by the fire right in front of the lake. And the sheets on the beds...Soooooo soft and comfy! It was a great weekend for the four of us friends to connect and enjoy nature and each other's company.

Nice getaway spot

Pros: - Great views and location. Other homes are near by, but the big trees make it feel reasonably private. - A big, wide view of the lake instead of a small cove filled with docks - Clean, well kept house - Thoughtful amenities like Kcups and charcoal and labeled light switches, etc. All the little things that make your stay easier. - AC that worked well (in July!) - Kayaks - Great water pressure - Excellent deck space and patio furniture - Nice TVs and Good WiFi Cons: - The “road” to get to the home is very steep and rocky (not unusual in the area) - The beds are very firm - The living room couches are old and worn out. The rest of the furnishings are newer and nicer.

Best views on the lake!

Providence Cottage was a beautiful place to stay. It was fully stocked with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Kitchen had everything you would need. Bathrooms included extras if you forgot something. Kayaks and rafts and life vests were on hand so you really just need to bring some food, drink and yourselves. We all had a great time and had plenty of space to play games, watch TV, and relax on the multiple decks. So beautiful and the water was great! West facing views made for beautiful sunsets and late afternoon water play. Just perfect.

Girls Trip

When you get to Providence Cottage you are not going to want to leave to go any further! The view from the house is amazing and the little beach is such a bonus. The house is spacious and open with lots of room for everyone to gather. The kitchen is the most well stocked of any house I’ve ever rented with VRBO. I can’t say enough about Jenny, our Evolve contact. She was great! When we decided to rent a house with no reviews, we were skeptical. But you don’t have to hesitate on this one. You will enjoy every moment here.
