Beautiful Home Great Location

Beautifully renovated home and great location as a base for a few days or longer. The house has everything we needed for a homely stay - including linens, tea towels, detergents, plus a few luxury extras like Nespresso; throw rugs, lots of cushions etc. Only minutes' drive to central Hobart, and easy access to highways for sightseeing beyond.This is our family's second stay here during the winter holidays. Cosy for winter nights with ample heating options and ambient lighting. Comfy beds and nice linen. Our teenager especially loved the large lounge, perfect for lazing about after a day of sightseeing.Joanne was a great host with good communication. House cleanliness was great.We will definitely return on next Tassie holiday!

Overnight stay

We were travelling around Tasmania, we had to cancel our accommodation due to the fires. Short notice we found this Gem. We enjoy our stay. All you need to stay in and enjoy an evening.

Welcoming and cosy

Very stylish and welcoming cottage well located to Hobart attractions. We enjoyed walking to Sandy Bay and Battery Point and on to the docks. We also enjoyed using the buses which were frequent, cheap and and almost at our door stop.

Great location

Firstly Joanne is an amazing host. She responds extremely quickly. She even arranged for some staples at the house as we arrived fromThe UK on Christmas Day. The house is exceptionally clean with comfortable bed. It’s location on Regent Street is super accessible to all Hobart has to offer. There is some outside space which has a wooden table and metal bench which we used occasionally as it was quite cold when we were in town. When we saw the hotels at the dockyards we were pleased that we chose this little bolt hole.

A beautiful place to stay, very clean and comfortable for a small family with everything we needed. Great location, easy walk to cafes and shops. I would stay longer next time.

Excellent stay in Sandy Bay

I stayed here with my parents for a birthday trip to Tasmania to celebrate my Dad's 70th. It was a fantastic location and great property - very clean, warm and all the necessary amenities (wifi, heating etc). Joanne (host) was fantastic to deal with, prompt in her communication and made our stay in Hobart very enjoyable. Definitely would recommend this property!

Our stay at Hobert's Finest was just lovely. Well appointed and maintained, with all the comforts of home. Suited us perfectly, couple with two teenagers. Our host Jo, was very communicative about the property and even turned the lights and heating on for us due to a late evening arrival. We’ll definitely be back next time we are travelling to Hobart!

Lovely house in a great location

We had a really comfortable stay in a beautifully renovated house. The owners were really thoughtful- we were arriving later in the evening so the lights and heaters were on for us when we arrived. Thank you!

A lovely renovated cottage with a tranquil ambiance. Great facilities, light and airy with a touch of class. A thoughtful host who left a welcome gift and greeting. We very much enjoyed our stay and would like to pass our thanks on to Joanne. On the downside, but with caring and constructive comment, we would recommend that the cleaner give the plastic plants and tops of pictures/mirrors/cupboards a thorough dust as unfortunately those prone to asthma may find the accumulated dust to be a trigger/irritant.

Beautiful House

The house was not only beauriful but also its cleanliness was truly impressive. The convinient location allowed us to explore CBD and good restaurant and cafe. Definetly coming back to stay longer.
