Amazing cottage with plenty of room

The cottage and property was exactly as outlined in the description. There is plenty of room in the driveway to support any kind of tailer (boat/ATV). Upon entering the cottage you are taken back by the amazing views and finishes. The place is beautiful and well stocked for your entire stay. The lake is great for boating and the group loved skiing and tubing on the flat water. I brought a 22' pontoon and was able to use the public launch with no issues....just make sure you have AWD or 4x4. There are plenty of non-powered water toys supplied and the yard is great for playing outdoors games etc. Couple of points to consider, there is no bathroom upstairs so we had to use the two downstairs and one was in the master bedroom. This caused some lines while people are taking showers etc.....not a show stopper but worth listing. The other item is that we had to bring our own linens which takes up a lot of space in your vehicle when you are planning a week long cottage trip. Also, there are no marinas on the lake, so you must bring your own fuel tanks etc.... All in all we had a great trip and would recommend taking the time to see this place.

Great family getaway spot.

If you are looking for a great family retreat locale, this is the one. The property is very clean and very well maintained with lots of room. Direct access to Deer Lake with lots of water toys (canoe, kayaks and two SUP's. There's a sandy area that can be used for volleyball, or just letting the kids play in the sand. The kitchen and dining area was very spacious and enough for our group of 14 to prep and eat. Would not hesitate to recommend this location.

New Years celebration

We stayed at this property for 3 nights Dec31-Jan 3, 2022. We were 3 families with kids. The cottage is very cozy, beautiful andjust as pictured and described in the listing. We really enjoyed having burning wood fireplace during those cold days. Kids loooved their loft area with bunk beds! We did have some some issues with wi-fi. I would suggest this to be improved especially for people who are planning to work remotely while staying at this property. The location is right on the lake and we enjoyed walking across the lake to see the other side. I can imagine how beautiful it's during summer months.
