The property fit our family well. There was a lot of room for us to do different things in various rooms. We were able to fish and do boating. the sheets did not fit several of the beds!

Clean, tidy, everything you need for a great stay. There were 15 of us and we had plenty of room. Everything was great. Awesome spot, quiet and private. The boat trip is not long to the cottage, right across the lake. Only note, there is no potable water at the property. But, water is close by at Port Loring and the water dispenser worked well. No complaints. Excellent vacation. Thank you.

Overall this place was amazing and exactly what we had hoped for. Pros: Overall - beautiful inside and out. Would stay again in a heart beat. Remote in the sense no neighbours, no excess noise. I saw a few bad reviews about the AC but we had no issues and it was a very muggy week. Wifi worked great. Once we had wifi the communication with hosts was amazing. Cons/improvement opportunities: fire pit area is rather small for a rental that could sleep up to 16. Check in process was rocky as there was no cell service (not their fault) and we rented a boat from the owners, but it was not there so could not get to the cottage right away. They made it right but just a kink in our first day. The dock needs a little bit of TLC, parts of it would go under water at times. Some items weren’t on site that were mentioned in listing.

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review! We’re really glad you enjoyed the cottage, the privacy, and your stay overall. It’s especially great to hear you’d come back again! We appreciate the constructive feedback as well. We’re always looking for ways to improve the property and guest experience. We also appreciate your patience with the boat mix-up on arrival and are glad we were able to get everything sorted out for you. Thanks again for staying with us, and we’d be very happy to welcome you back!

The perfect escape. We loved this house and the ale is just spectacular. Not having AC throughout did make it uncomfortable in the middle of summer but it was worth it for the location.

Good Tmes at Jack's Lake!

This was a family reunion vacation for 11 including kids and grandkids. Great spot, amenities, lots of rooms to spread out or hang out together. The lake a surrouding area was beautiful. Lots of kitchen ammenities and storage. We brought tons of food and it fit. Board games, water toys and we rented the boat. Caught lots if fish! Great comunication with host, minor wrinkle on check in was handled well. We loved the spot and would return again!
