Relaxing Month on Galiano

This was our second visit to this property as we liked it and the island so much the first time round. The property's comfortable and well-equipped with two bedrooms/bathrooms, and everything's good quality and in very good condition. Galiano's exceptional in the availability of trails and beach access, and the hosts - Christa and Frank - are welcoming and helpful. We hope to get back before too long.

We had a lovely stay at Christa’s property! Well-appointed, clean and comfy. Location was great for getting around the island. Check in and check out was totally hassle free! Would definitely stay again.

Lovely Galiano Cottage

Great stay

Everything was exactly as described. If you’re looking for some fun, I highly recommend renting scooters to tour the island. A great way to see the sights and the whole family had fun.

Long weekend getaway

My three friends and I spent July long weekend on Galiano and stayed at this beautiful home. The pictures don't do the space justice it is spacious and cozy and feels like you're staying in a treehouse. The house was walking distance to 2 beach accesses and a short drive to the ferry, and other attractions. We had a wonderful time staying here and would definitely book again!

Wonderful location with a gorgeour view, especially of the sunrise. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Beautiful home away from home

We had a wonderful stay here. The house is amazing and we had a great few days exploring the island. I tried and failed to reach Christa the day before of and the day of our arrival because we had not received any checkin instructions. That wasn't ideal, but we found the place and were able to figure everything out and Christa responded later that evening. We really enjoyed our stay and I would definitely love to return at some point.

Our happy place away from home

Second time visiting Galiano and staying here is a major part of our return because we knew how much relaxing it is. Tastefully and practically furnished, quiet, near to the water and Christa is so welcoming - we hope to make it an annual trip which speaks for itself.

Getting away

The home had everything you needed. The kitchen was very well equipped. The bedrooms very comfortable and quiet. The host was very helpful with island information.

Another amazing stay

This is our 4th time staying at Christa's place. We love the lodging, views, location, quiet etc. everything is as good as last time. Def recommend it everyone. Christa is very patient, helpful and lovely to be with.

Best place ever

My husband, myself and mother in law stayed in this fantastic home. Views were extraordinary, the host was very helpful when we checked in. Had instructions on everything we needed. If we ever get the chance, we will return.

Wonderful family time

Thank you Christa for hosting us in such a beautiful and peaceful place. The space is on the upper level of the house and was so comfortable to be in for our family, and appreciate that we could bring our doggies there as well. Beach access close by is a bonus. Christa responded quickly to questions we had and made us feel at home. We look forward to coming there again.

Exceeded expectations

We loved the house (we were upstairs). Clean, comfortable, and well fitted out. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of places to hang out (living room, loft, dining room, deck). The location was perfect, an easy walk to the shore access, and close to beaches and shops (by car). Christa is friendly and helpful. It was our first time on Galiano and we found it easy to get around and see and do a lot. The Saturday market was great, we really enjoyed the food scene (particularly memorable was the Valley Grill - outside eating tacos listening to live music), Sturdies Bay Bakery had excellent coffee, Galiano Island Books was lovely and friendly as was Galiano Island Soap Works. It all made for a great long weekend. Lots more to see and do - we'll be back.

Wonderful family time in this well appointed home.

Clean, comfortable home, it has everything needed to make your stay pleasurable. We loved the location, close to beaches and the many hikes on the Island. Trees on the property made it very pleasant and kept the place cool. We all loved our time here and will most likely return. Hostess is very helpful, and has a very good knowledge of the Island. I give it five stars.

Galiano

This property does not feel like a rental property; it is a lovely, clean, comfortable home that has everything you need for a short or long term stay with the added bonus of in suite laundry. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be pleasantly surprised when they open the door to find that the property surpasses expectation. Having such great accommodations will only add to the wonderful memories of the time spent on Galiano for my daughter's wedding. Thanks for sharing your home Christa :)

Gorgeous Galiano

What an amazing stay with Christa. Easily accessible and quiet area of island with a great beach access to enjoy the sunsets! We explored for four days - our host spent time and explained what we should see and visit — the ridges the bays the beaches and the bluffs and always nice to come back and sit on the deck at end of afternoon. Well appointed and large apartment- super comfy beds, great kitchen fully equipped with quality cooking utensils and nice dishes — obviously a lot of care and thought out into making this a great stay. Our stay was amazing!! The pictures shown on the listing do not do the suite justice! Everything about it was great. It was warm and cozy. It was also our first time on Galiano. Christa was a great host! We were lucky enough to cross paths. She was super friendly and down-to-earth. Any questions we had about the island she was able to answer.
