The property is in a brilliant location, close to the beach with lots of opportunity for walking and checking out the town. The rooms are good sized. Everything is well stocked. And Parm is a very responsive host!

Overall, our stay was good. Great location within walking distance to the beach, marina, trails, playgrounds and splash pad. Backyard is small and could use some sun coverage. Inside is fine, if you don’t mind stairs. Lots of bathrooms, which is great for 10 people, however the eating/living area is small for 10 people.

Great Location

Location to beach was great. House was clean and nice size. Owner was very attentive to making sure we had all we needed and quick to respond. Only negative was ensuite off master bedroom was too small but not current owners fault. Would go back and recommend.

Cleanliness

This property is in a great location, close to beach and walking trails. It is well appointed and nicely decorated. The state of cleanliness was disappointing. The owner was very apologetic and was attentive to make sure we were comfortable. We would stay at this property again.

Nice big property with a lot of space. 5 min walk to the beach. Restaurants, grocery stores, etc 5-10 min driving distance. Communication with the owner was great. He was very responsive to issues that we had.Unfortunately when we arrived, the air conditioning wasn’t working; finding out later on that it was broken. Like stated above the owner did respond and go above and beyond to make the best he could for that situation. Inside needs a lot of attention to detail. It was noted that there is a cleaning service but it was hard to believe that somebody even came. Things like vacuuming, cleaning of windows ( inside & out) were clearly not done. The beds were not made properly and most of the beds did not have the proper sheets.For the price paid those things should be done and should be verified that it is done properly. If things change me and my family would love to come back.

Great location!

Port Elgin beach is wonderful and close by. The beach and restaurants uptown were easily walkable and pleasant. The food was very good everywhere. The kids loved the waves at Sauble Beach and the amazing bike trails, the most . The house itself is a strange and awkward design but served our purposes. One complaint I have is the lack of towels and sheets for all the beds. My opinion is that for this price those things should be included, as no one wants to haul that around on vacation especially for a large group of people.

My wife and I are two small-town souls who've found ourselves caught up in the hustle and bustle of big city life. It wasn't until we started having kids that we began to realize how much we missed the sense of community and belonging we felt growing up.

We searched high and low for a place where our family could feel rooted and connected once again, and stumbled upon a hidden gem that stole our hearts away.

From the moment we set foot in this charming neighborhood, we were struck by the calmness and serenity that enveloped us. The thought of our children being able to ride their bikes and play without the constant hum of cars was music to our ears.

We knew right then and there that we had found our slice of heaven on earth, and we hope that you'll feel the same way too.
