A classic butterfly-style Alexander home in the famed Vista Las Palmas neighborhood, this 3-bedroom retreat lies near the San Jacinto foothills on a private, tree-lined lot with a ficus privacy wall and gated entrance.

In the backyard, chaise loungers line the swimming pool, accented by umbrellas -- hints of the bold decor inside. Enjoy lively conversation on the outdoor patio sofa, craft a martini at the BBQ peninsula, or fire up the grill for dinner al fresco at the six-seat patio table. When the sun sets, stargaze from the private hot tub.

A wall of glass opens the patio to the home’s open-concept great room, where tongue and groove ceilings and original contemporary artwork complement period-appropriate furniture. Gather by the gas fireplace on the sectional sofa, or settle into one of two Barcelona chairs for a movie on the large-screen SmartTV.

Three suites comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. Each has unique decor and a private SmartTV with Roku:

A private washer and dryer add convenience, as well as parking for two cars (one driveway space, with additional street parking).

From this home’s convenient location in the heart of Vista Las Palmas, guests have easy access to shops, restaurants, galleries and more in downtown Palm Springs -- all a leisurely 15-minute stroll or 3-minute drive. Nearby golf courses, hiking trails, and the famed Palm Springs aerial tramway are less than 10 minutes away by car.

Great neighborhood, beautiful view…and great weather for hiking nearby trails. Hot tub and pool were very nice.

Charm in Palm Springs

Loved our stay! The house was just what we were looking for… charming mid-century home stocked with everything you could think of, fun walkable neighborhood, amazing views, beautiful yard and pool. Such a fun stay. Would love to come back!!

Great stay in VLP

Love staying in the neighborhood with so cool architecture to enjoy. House was clean, well laid out and the yard was killer, including the best views I've seen. Check in process was seamless and help was on hand with a few questions that came up. Would recommend!

Amazing property!

Loved this property. Location ideal and quiet neighborhood. It was extremely well appointed and decorated, and spotless. Clear instructions provided for use of pool, grill etc.

View, neighborhood, house - all gorgeous

The view from the large windows of this mid century modern gem are amazing! Pool area is beautiful with lots of seating, shade, grassy play area and hot tub. Rooms are large and comfortable with great linens and extras. Neighborhood is quiet and great for walking or biking. All restaurants within easy reach. Will definitely be coming back!

Lovely Holiday in Vista Las Palmas

An incredible Palm Springs home in a truly iconic Palm Springs location. I rented this property for myself and my family over the holidays and we couldn't have enjoyed our stay more! The property was clean, nicely furnished (with nice mid-century / contemporary touches) centrally located in Las Palmas, and communication with Natural Retreats was great. The house is perfect for 6 adults (3 couples) - and we thoroughly enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and beautiful pool and hot tub.

Review

Overall, we had a great stay! The house is spacious and fit our family of 6 perfectly. The location is amazing--close to everything but quiet and removed enough for privacy. We had a big issue with the pool heat and ability to use the pool due to maintenance, which resulted in lots of back and forth with management.
