We had a great stay! The bed and couch were comfortable. The location was wonderful. The girl who checked us in was nice. My only complaint is i wish there was an air conditioner head in the bedroom, as im a hot sleeper, and the only AC was in the main living area.

It was very noisy as we were on us 31. We could not open our sliding door because it was stuck and once we did it was too noisy to sit outside. It was also noisy from the people upstairs.

Good Stay

No communication by the property owner. You check in like at a motel. Kitchen and living area were updated and nice. Bathroom very dated with small shower and soaking tub that is stained. We did not use the pool and I'm not sure I would. It was a very small area with little furniture and the pool water did not look appealing.The location is good which is why I gave it "Good" rating.

Very close to downtown and Lake Michigan. We had our dog with us and since we were on the first floor, we had a screened in porch with a door. We could easily let the dog out to potty.

I booked room 104 as a dog friendly room and upon check-in I was told that I was booked for room 200 and that it was not a dog friendly room. I had to go through my emails to find what room number I was originally booked into, and then told that room 104 was under construction. Luckily room 105 was available and was a dog friendly room. I was also told I had not paid the dog fee yet so I was charged an additional $50. I didn’t realize that I was going to be charged a pet fee when I booked the room as I assumed it was built into the pet friendly description of the room.Room 105, although clean, was not worth the $230 that we paid for it. It was completely outdated, and all of the furniture was extremely uncomfortable and nothing matched. There was no “full kitchen” as described, but instead a makeshift kitchen with a tiny dishwasher, a cooktop, a bar sink and a microwave. The weird Jacuzzi tub with painted, chipping wood around it was really strange. This room is a tired old space and it needs to be updated. If you want to charge this kind of money for it, especially in the off-season. Unfortunately, we will not be recommending or returning.

Charlevoix stays

Our stay was great. Great view, great price and the receptionist was awesome. We would stay again. The only things I could complain about was the carpet in the bedroom and the tub. The carpet was very custy and I wish I would have brought slippers to walk in. Also, the tub needed to be cleaned out before we used it. I wouldnt say it was dirty as in nobody cleaned it, but it was pretty dusty. I'm glad I brought some cleaning things with me. Again. I would stay and recommend them to other people. Just with the precaution of bringing zome cleaning wipes and some slippers to walk in.

The condo was very clean and had everything that we needed for a quiet weekend away. We will definitely be back…maybe when it is warmer :)

Great little Condo with all the comforts of home.

This condo was very cute and spacious for a one bedroom. Bathroom was large and included a jacuzzi tub. Toilet area had it's own door, which was great for a one bathroom multi-use! Location was nice, walking distance to local shopping and restaurants. I have one questionable situation to share in an otherwise perfect experience. In the Master bedroom, there was a wall plug that was overheating. It was HOT to the touch. If you left your hand on it, it would burn you. The first night, we had a cell phone plugged in it. When we unplugged the charging cord, the plug was so hot, it would have burned you. We thought it was the charging cord or brick, until the next day. It randomly heated and cooled with nothing plugged in. It truly was a dangerous situation. This is how fires start, and this was truly a high potential hazard. We went to the office on the second day of our stay and told the person working at the front desk. She expressed mild concern, and said she'd definitely put in a "work order" for it. She didn't seem to understand our concern that this should be handled in a more "emergent" way. We were there two more days, and no one came to check the extremely hot plug. So, I prayed for protection for our family until our stay was complete. God is good, and we're back home, safe and sound. But, I will say one last prayer that they get it fixed asap. And, if you're reading this near the dates that we have stayed, 11/24, I would verify that it has been fixed.

We stayed at a different place within the same building a few weeks ago with other family members. My husband and I were celebrating our 2yr anniversary this visit so we thought we’d stay at the same place. While the room was clean and ready for us it could use a few updates. Specifically with attention to the paint and the bedroom wall unit. It needs some attention

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this apartment unit at Point North Inn in Charlevoix. It's right next to the bridge that enters downtown, close to the bike path, and it was clean, bright and beautiful -- just as shown in the photos. It was roomy but cozy. We'll be back. I'd high recommend it.

Nice getaway

We visited in the off-season. Traffic was lighter and we were able to see the town and area without concerns of overwhelming tourism. The room fit our needs well. Pictures of the screened porch are taken in a flattering manner. The porch is extremely small and stacked right on top of other porches. It's not really a secluded spot to hang out but it came in handy when walking out the back straight on to the main drag. Something to be aware of if that's a main point for you. All things considered, good location and good value.
