Hosting someone in your home usually means - making sure their stay is comfortable and clean.
Leaking kitchen sink ( with a tub catching water underneath it as if the owner was aware and didn’t call a plumber) cobwebs all over the patio (seats, table, screen door, balcony ledge), black “goo” running from the kitchen sink faucet, crud under the downstairs bathroom faucet, only one extra garbage bag, a hole in the bedroom ceiling, no usable skillet for cooking (we had to buy one), no beach towels (we had to buy 4), and an overall sense that no one really cares about this condo enough to upgrade it (in decades) just not our idea of “welcome to our home, enjoy your stay” Very Disappointed. But we powered through.
Matthew the GM was incredibly kind and understanding and fair. We had a very honest conversation and he took care of us. Points North is lucky to have him.
