Welcome to this clean and airy, beachy, remodeled (August 2023) unit within the Hawaiian Inn Resort! This lovely 1 bedroom unit is situated on the 2nd floor of the resort overlooking the swimming pool, Tiki bar and ocean! Soak in the salt water air and sun on your private balcony while catching all the action below!



This 1 bedroom unit is nicely decorated in beachy décor and has a kitchenette stocked with the essentials to prepare home cooked meals. Unit features a bedroom with (2) Queen size beds and a 32” flat screen TV. Living room features a Queen size sleeper sofa (sleeps 2), 1 chair, 55 flat screen TV, high top seating area with 4 bar stools, refrigerator, microwave, 4 top burner stove / oven, toaster, coffee maker, blender and more. Bathroom features a tub and shower combo with handheld shower head.



The Hawaiian Inn Resort is a perfect place for a get away for it offers many amenities and plenty of fun right on-site. Amenities include an Olympic size swimming pool with large pool deck, heated indoor swimming pool, game area, cafe, laundry facility, gift and souvenir shop. The Tiki Bar & Grill on the pool deck offers cold drinks and light food while providing live entertainment during the summer.

The condo was clean, newly renovated, and the pictures were an accurate representation of the unit. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the cool temperature inside. It was also very convenient to be within a short walking distance to the beach.

The beds were horrible and the shower was horrible. The beds were the old spring mattresses tgat you woukd have in a kids cabin. I did complain and after tge 2nd night, theu brought in mattress toppers. It was better however for the price, the mattresses should be perfect. Im not exaggerating. It was sleeping on springs. The shower water pressure was super low. We made due. Glad to get home.

First three days the walls and ceiling were dripping condensation, the air was one and the doors not open. Floor and baseboards were moldy when we got there, linens and furniture damn and causes wet spots on clothes. No water pressure in the shower, no hot water for the kitchen sink, water was shut off completely one day without any notification from the owner and the property had no idea why it happened. The owner was notified by the FHA that this was happening and never notified renters. Very, very inconvenient and disappointing. Also the pool was filthy. I will be requesting some sort of refund for this because half of our vacation was absolutely ruined with no dry linens or towels because we had to use them to dry the floor.

Very nice unit. It had everything we needed. It was beautifully decorated with nice glass objects. We had to put the glass up so our kiddos didn’t break them. View of pool and beach was beautiful.

Terrible maintenance response from owner

Reported maintenance problem to iTrip Maint Monday could not use sink in bathroom, no water pressure,iTrip said it was Hawaiian Inn responsibility,no cover over balcony door ,people on pool deck has clear view in your room at night,very dangerous,iTrip said they would contact owner I have asked for partial refund .Was there for a week and couldn’t use bath . Never heard back from owner.I reported to iTrip I wouldn’t have rented room if I had known of these problems

The building had no hot water when we arrived, also no heat. It was cold. We did use the little electric heater. Also, there wasn't enough towels, not enough toilet paper, only one dishtowel, one little bar of hand soap (good thing I brought my own).

The condo

Location and pool and beach were wonderful. Condo-bedroom has windows that are right outside the hallway so room was bright couldn’t sleep. The mattresses were absolutely horrible. Cheapest thing l have ever slept on. Bathroom ne fan and tub was a mess.

Thanksgiving with family

We came to do Thanksgiving with our children and grandchildren. Upon arrival the 2 ladies at the desk were very rude and said that the don't deal with renters from owner owned units. We were prepared to cook at the property. Thankfully 1 of our sons was also staying in a different unit was able to help with the cooking that needed water. I was hauling dishes to his place to wash in hot water. We had no HOT water in the kitchen or bathroom sink for the first day and then had NO running water in the kitchen at all the remaining of our stay. The water coming out of the tub (which we had to use for cleaning dishes) was luke warm and very little pressure. Our other 2 children were staying elsewhere. Needless to say we left early and we are hoping for at least a partial refund from the owner/property manager. Hopefully they get this fixed before someone else stays here.

We love the Hawaiian Inn, this is our 4th visit, but first stay in a condo, so with bringing a baby, it was perfect! We enjoyed the main pool & the indoor pool, it’s awesome & never busy! The lobby of the hotel is very pleasant & tropical, the grounds are kept clean, and the outdoor furniture has been updated. The Tiki Bar was nice & had great food & cold drinks, & made it convenient to spend an afternoon by the pool! We felt safe with the presence of security guards, & the fact you had to use a combo for access to the beach & indoor pool. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

Had a great time!

This room was nice a clean. It was our first time staying in this room but we have stayed at the Hawaiian INN many times and love it. Location of the room was great because it was the second floor and close to the lobby so easy access. The food and drinks at the tiki bar were great as always! So nice being back at the Hawaiian Inn!

Disappointing

The decor was lovely. It was adequately stocked with cleaning supplies, dishes, pans and appliances. However, the first day we noticed the Keurig coffee maker didn't work. But we brought our own. The room was cold. Basically we had to cover up with blankets each and every time we were in the room. We looked for the thermostat and located it behind the door. In the bedroom. It was an old Honeywell. Unable to determine if it was in AC mode or heat. It definitely was not digital. It was very old. A hand painted sign said not to turn it off. The blower ran 24/7. A few times the blower would shut off briefly only to restart. We turned the thermostat to 80 degrees and it barely reached 70 usually 64-66 degrees. We reported this to the booking agent within the 24 hour requirement via email. We also had difficulty with operating the television system. We received one phone call from maintenence regarding the heat with the admonition that we were subject to a $100 fee if this was an emergency. Very disappointed in the response to our issues. Final frustration was the parking during Bike Week. At least 80% of the parking space was devoted to accommodating the bikers leaving those of us who had also paid struggling to park. Basically, we were forced not to leave for fear we would not have a place to park on return. It is unlikely that we would rent from this venue again.
