BALCONY AND POOL OPEN

Please note: From July 2025 to December 31st 2025, the building will be undergoing a significant renovation project. Be advised that during this period, there will be active construction occurring on the exterior of the building, including balcony work, which will result in balcony closure during that time. The condo will remain open for rent during this time. However, we do want to make you aware that there will be some noise and disturbances due to the construction activities. We have applied a discount to this unit during the construction time due to the inconvenience this will cause.

Welcome to The Coast is Clear (#505). Fantastic oversized 1 Bedroom Direct Gulf Front Condo located on the beautiful coastline of Indian Shores Florida. Spacious and updated with brand new fresh bedding and linens. The kitchen is updated with stainless appliances, white cabinetry and granite counters. The living area is spacious with plenty of seating area, flat screen smart tv and a dining table for 4. Kick back and enjoy STUNNING views from the Gulf front terrace, kitchen and living room. The unit is also equipped with a stackable washer/dryer for your convenience! The perfect floor height to see dolphins and manatees while enjoying your morning coffee. Many great area restaurants are located close by with Putt Putt just across the street. Gulf Front Heated Pool! Loads of local attractions. The property will include beach towels and beach chairs for your convenience. This unit comes with one assigned parking space on the south end of the property.

Sleeping arrangements - 2 Queen size beds in the master bedroom.

This property offers initial supplies for a 3 day stay. Additional supplies will be the responsibility of the guest.

The process was smooth. Loved our own semi private elevator. Never stayed where I had my own private vestibule. The Condo was very large and I really like the seperate areas...could be in front room while Husband slept in back. Water views amazing. The pool area a bit sad (thus the good rating). That could be easily fixed with even a few plants. Overall, very nice.

Our stay was wonderful. Our only concern was the fact the elevator didn’t work for a day and being on the 5th floor with 50 bad knees was painful. The condo itself was beautiful and extremely clean and well-kept. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need besides food. Check in was amazing! Just showed up and entered our condo using the PIN code to the door. Check out was the same.

Aside from the 71 steps (75 pool side) to get to our casa it was wonderful! We did know about the elevator being out and this did not deter from our vacation! This place is spectacular and the views stunning! Take advantage of the beach rentals as it was much easier not to have to drag your own chairs! There were chairs available but we stuck with the noodles! Will be back! 10/10

we were booked into a 5th floor unit and there was no working elevator. As my husband is a heart patient we could not stay here.

Beachfront view amazing!

Easy booking, great communication. Preperry exactly as described. Great condition, well stocked with essentials, well organized, VERY clean, and reasonable, easy checout instructions and chore list. View is AMAZING! And well worth the price. Only downside is 5 floor walkup if elevator broken (which it was because of the hurricanes, which I expected when I booked so it didnt affect my rating). Some confusion on the parking space at checkin but communication was great and quick to resolve.

Very nice place

Very nice property to stay, however, the elevator being out and being on the 5th floor made it tedious to carry groceries up. Also, with only the single bed room and 2 beds in that room would be an interesting way for 2 couples to stay here. This is more of a 2 person condo.

Very upset with this VRBO--DO NOT RECOMMEND

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our flights were cancelled due to the Hurricane coming through (no flights were able to get into the airport), so we had no way to get to the rental. I realized when I was texting, what I thought was the owner of the VRBO, that I was actually communicating with a business. At first, they refused to give us any type of discount or even allow us to reschedule our trip to another date. The comment I received was "we think the hurricane is going to go around this rental." After a number of very frustrating texts, they finally agreed to give us our security deposit back (which we would have received anyway) and the cleaning fee back. I had to be pretty adamant on even getting that refunded. I thought VRBO stood for "Vacation Renter by OWNER" not by a rental agency/business. I learned something from this experience, and I will be looking elsewhere for rentals in the future.

Beautiful!

This condo is in an amazing spot with great restaurants and a Winn Dixie is very close. Awesome sand toys, chairs, and umbrellas, as well as a cooler to use! . 5th floor without a working elevator is tough, but a great workout! I truly appreciated that the manager called us prior to arrival to ensure we did not need assistance with our bags. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Girls' Beach Vacay

Location was excellent. Condo was very well equipped and very clean. Appreciated the washer and dryer and all the beach toys. Would have been excellent if the elevator would have been working. Five flights of stairs + car level was almost too much for this senior citizen and another guest with a bad knee. Appreciate the discount for the non-working elevator.

This condo was amazing. The ocean front view is breathtaking. This was the first time my friend and I have visited this location and we will definitely return. The only inconvenience was the elevator, but I did not take away from the rating because it was stated that it was currently out of service. This unit exceeded our expectations and we were highly satisfied with our stay.

Broken Elevator

The broken elevator soured our vacation. I wasn’t aware of the broken elevator until I arrived. I acknowledge that I missed reading the broken elevator statement in the rental listing. However, the rental company should have contacted me to ensure I was aware of the elevator situation (especially since our unit was on the fifth floor) and offered cancellation. A long term broken elevator is a significant problem. Other guests at the complex were contacted about the elevator and offered cancellation. Other people we met on beach had expressed interest in The Chateaux, but when they were contacted about the broken elevator, decided to stay elsewhere.

Beach Beauty

This property is wonderful! We had an excellent time and scheduling/communication was a breeze. The only thing was the elevator. Must have missed that on the listing but the elevator is broken and we had to walk five flights of stairs with kids. Other than that, we had an excellent stay. The broken elevator should be in bold at the top of the page, for sure!!

Clean, kitchen had everything you would need, furniture comfortable. Washer/dryer in a closet off bedroom filled with beach accessories. Handy to have an insulated bag to use with snacks and drinks. Plenty of beach towels. Overhead fans were nice. Balcony view is fantastic. Parking was easy. Management responded immediately to questions and was super helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Not good. Elevator is and has been broken for weeks I found out . The air conditioning did not work at all. Repair tech checked it out and said parts needed to be ordered so my family would not have a/c the entire time we were there. He told us we should “open the windows” Not a great solution when’s its 85 and humid. So I decided to at least try that. Opened glass sliding door and found that the screen was jammed into the full open position and would not budge an inch. Owner of this condo should fire the property management company (Seaside Property Shoppe). Also when I contacted Taylor from Seaside about a good faith refund for non existent a/c he told me “no refunds or rate adjustments shall be made for mechanical failures.” That may be the “policy”, however I would rather spend my money with a company that has standards that a reputable company would follow and stand by to make things right for their customers.

Winter getaway

This was our 2nd stay at the Chateaux, and it did not disappoint. The only disappointment was the elevator service not working, but we new that before arriving. Condo was exactly as described by the pictures. Had great communication with the rental agent Taylor, was always quick to respond. My husband does grilling and would be nice to have some tongs. Thank you for a great week!

Beautiful BeachFront Condo

This condo is updated, clean & beautiful. The views of the gulf from the balcony are stunning! Right on the beach with easy pool & beach access. It had everything we needed for our stay. Close to restaurants, golf & more.

Relaxing oceanfront condo

Condo was exactly as pictured. Enjoyed having beach chairs, towels, umbrellas and toys to use. Pool was warm and staff was frequently maintaining the outdoor area.
