'Stony Point' is a place for couples to disappear together. Perched high in the trees with mountain and sunset views, this Brevard vacation rental feels more like a treehouse. Built from local wood and thoughtfully designed to blend into its surroundings, the cabin features big windows, warm textures, and decks that bring the outdoors into every moment of the stay. Explore the on-site Stony Point Loop to a cascading stream, then relax together in the hot tub as sunset washes over the ridgeline.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Peaceful ‘Stony Point’! This cabin truly lives up to its name — it’s tucked up in the mountains and offers incredible views that make you feel like you're on top of the world. The setting is quiet, serene, and perfect for relaxing and reconnecting with nature.The cabin itself was cozy, clean and well-kept. The fireplace inside and the outdoor fire pit were both amazing touches, adding to the mountain-retreat feel. The hot tub was a huge bonus and so relaxing — just be aware there was quite a bit of chlorine, and it did fade the color of my bathing suit. So definitely bring one you’re not too attached to (RIP to my favorite army-green two-piece ).One thing to note is that the cabin really is up in the mountains, and the roads can be steep and rugged. I highly recommend driving a truck or an SUV rather than a regular car for a smoother, stress-free ride up.Overall, this was a wonderful getaway with beautiful views, great amenities, and total peace and quiet. I would absolutely stay again!

This cabin feels remote nestled deep in the woods far from neighbors yet is only a 20 minute drive from many of the attractions that Brevard has to offer. We enjoyed the beautiful view, hot tub, outdoor firepit, indoor fireplace, great kitchen well stocked with a variety of cookware, short hiking trail to a quaint stream/waterfall, easy to use sound system that extends out to porch, and an extremely comfortable bed. The host was generous in offering treats upon arrival, and a bundle of firewood. Additionally, the host provided clear communication and was quick to reply with answers to questions. Overall, this place was a great choice for my wife and I to celebrate our honeymoon.

What a great location. You could spend an entire vacation without leaving the property. Tons of things to do around the area, and a lovely town nearby. Definitely recommend!

Everything about our stay was perfect. The hosts reached out to us a week before and made sure we had everything we needed. From the turn by turn directions to the thoughtfulness of the cabin, I honestly could not ask for more. The cabin was clean and very inviting. I found myself taking care of it like it was my own home bc it was so beautiful! The views were amazing and the town was a gem... can't wait to get back!

Beautiful Mountain Home with Amazing Views

We loved our stay at this beautiful mountain home. The hot tub was amazing and well taken care of. The view from the deck was amazing. We enjoyed the ping pong table and fire pit at night. The Beds were very comfortable. Downtown Brevard was just a short drive away with lots to do.

Loved the long gravel isolated drive . We enjoyed the fire pit and hike down to the creek . Beautiful cabin . Just enough room for our two girls (bunk beds) , my husband and myself. Girls loved the ping pong table . Short drive to the falls and pretty place chapel . .

Beautiful Cabin Retreat

We are so lucky to have found this amazing cabin! Everything from the communication, welcome goodies, and check-in/out prices was thoughtfully done. Then there’s the amazing view, expansive deck furniture, and the indescribable relief of solitude in nature. Cannot recommend this cabin, these hosts, or Brevard highly enough! One tip to impart would be to try for the waterfall hikes on a weekday—we went Sunday morning and the parking lots were totally full.

Amazing views, luxury cabin!!!

Everything about our stay was incredible! The cabin was so luxurious - you could tell great care was taken in its construction and upkeep, everything was beautifully done right down to the artistic detail on the doors. The reservation process and check in was a breeze, the hosts were very communicative, responsive, and friendly. Upon arrival, there were so many details to make our stay more enjoyable. There was a fun little gift to greet us, the fire pit (which is so cool!) was set and ready to go. The cabin was very well stocked. The entire place was very clean and comfortable. The bed was really comfy too! You cannot beat the views at this place, it felt like we had the whole mountain to ourselves. The property is conveniently located to some fun places to grab a bite or a beverage in Cedar Mountain and its super easy to get to Brevard. This was very likely the nicest rental I've ever stayed at. It was a magical stay, we loved every minute!

Beautiful cabin with gorgeous views!

We enjoyed our week stay on the property. The views are gorgeous and we enjoyed some meals and morning coffee on the deck just to enjoy the views. Hot tub is pristine clean and we looked forward to spending time in it each day. The location is secluded but still close to enjoy Brevard or Ashville. Highly recommend this property!

Just as pictured if not better!

If you are considering this spot, just go for it! You will not be disappointed in any way! This property was amazing as were the owners who gave a pic by pic overview of getting to the home from the mountain roads & left welcome treats. Their caring communication was stellar! The cabin’s views were breathtaking and the home itself was spotless, well equipped and beautifully yet comfortably decorated. After sleeping on the comfortable beds, we loved lingering in the morning with our coffee and reading and playing games on the deck and hot tub in the afternoon sun. Our dog loved the treats, comfy blankets and dog bed and running in the trail and the fenced off dog run. Our teenager had fun playing ping pong and helping dad with the fire pit. While it is hard to leave this type of property, we did go to Brevard and enjoyed the shoppes, ice cream at Rocky’s and The Veteran’s Museum. We also went to Looking Glass Falls and The Gem Mine. The home is very well equipped so just head to Ingles or The Dollar General for groceries and any necessities you may need. I hope we get back sometime! It was a fantastic mix of exploring, relaxing and family quality time - including the pup! So, what are you waiting for? Book it and have a blast!

Sanctuary

One of cleanest and well-appointed places I have ever rented. Quaint and cozy, but amid a view so grand that just being there is vacation enough. We did take advantage of many breathtaking hikes and waterfalls as well as Brevard with the cutest shops and galleries - all within minutes of the cabin, but we found ourselves coming back a little earlier than we normally would - just because we loved being here so much! The ping pong table, hot tub and amazing lounge deck were just icing on the cake! This place has a little piece of our hearts and I hope to one day return. The sense of peace I felt there was incredibly recharging. Thank you for sharing this special place.

Luxurious views (and cabin)

This place somehow lives up to and actually surpasses its description and photos. We were so very impressed with the cleanliness, thoughtfulness and impeccable design of the cabin. The design of the cabin is delightful (not kitschy like some other vacation cabins) and the views from the expansive deck are unparalleled. We were greeted with treats for the kids, dog and adults—it really made us feel special. The cabin is dog friendly and even provided a crate and dog bed as well as toys and blankets for our pup. The beds are comfy and there were ample towels and linens. The hot tub was a favorite of both kids and adults as were the indoor and outdoor fireplace/fire ring. Brevard is close by and we enjoyed some breweries as well as Pisgah forest. We would highly recommend this for a couple or small family and we hope to return next year!
