Sand Dollar 507 is a Silver 3 bed 2 bath Guf Front Condo on the Top Floor

Home Away from Home - Sand Dollar 507 is a SILVER Tier three-bedroom, two-bath Gulf Front vacation rental located in Indian Shores. This spacious 5th-floor (Top Floor!) vacation rental has a delightful décor and includes a private Gulf Front balcony with a view of our beautiful white sugar sand beach. Plenty of balcony furniture to enjoy magnificent sunsets!

Vacation rental 507 offers a full size, a fully-equipped kitchen complete with appliances including microwave and dishwasher, stocked drawers and you need to enjoy dining at home. Flat Screen Cable TVs in the living room and all bedrooms, telephone with free local US and Canada calls along with free Wi-Fi are also provided.

Sleeping accommodations include one KING in the main bedroom, two queen beds in the 2nd bedroom and 2 twin beds in the 3rd bedroom. Both bathrooms offer double sink vanities and there is a walk-in shower in the main bath and a tub shower combo in the 2nd bathroom. 507 has a Washer/Dryer, Central heat/air conditioning along with ceiling fans.

The Sand Dollar Resort amenities include On-Site Front desk for easy check-in, Gulf Front swimming pool, sundeck, Jacuzzi, Private fishing pier, Volleyball area, Charcoal grills, free parking, interior elevator system, stairs, pool restrooms and outdoor shower. Check-out maid service included. Bed Linens and bath towels are provided as well as beach towels.

This vacation rental comes with local gym access at no charge.

Maximum occupancy: 8 persons (including infants). 507 is a Smoke-Free Vacation Rental. Sorry, No pets. Limit two parking passes at check-in. No trailers, RVs or boats.

It’s like Fort Knox! The rules are a bit ridiculous as well the amount of keys, codes and arm bands that is required. The condo is big and roomy but came with no “extras”. Salt and pepper and coffee filters is all you get. The condo number is etched into almost everything in the kitchen. And for heavens sake, do not put your shoes on the grass!! By the time you read all the hanging signs and the list of restrictions your stay will be over. We will NEVER stay here again! Thank goodness we were only in town for 3 days!!

Location is excellent! The room was not very clean! Spills when entering condo . The dishes were dirty in the cabinets ! Dishwasher not very good but the person that put the dishes away should have realized that !

This is one of our favorite vacation spots. Our condo was beautiful and was stocked with several items (cooler, fishing polls, beach towels). We spent of our days in the pool or on the beach and our evenings relaxing in the jacuzzi. My only suggestion would be to update the living room furniture in the condo we were in. It was a bit older and uncomfortable.

Short Getaway

Second year we’ve stayed in this unit. Had trouble getting the TV to work for the stations we wanted, but figured out how to download our own streaming services so it didn’t matter. Absolutely love the view!

The amenities have been consistently good over the years. The staff is always top notch - welcoming and friendly. This stay had a couple hiccups. The hot tub was inoperable for a day. The mattresses in 507 were suboptimal. One of the twin beds was extremely squeaky. The mattress in the master bedroom facing the water was very soft. It needs to be replaced. There was also maintenance on the sprinklers in the unit so a couple spots in the ceiling were cut open. The biggest issue was mattress related.

Clean but needs some TLC

The condo was clean, but dated. The front desk staff was friendly, location great and the pool area nice. The oven and dryer need replaced, we had to work our schedule around the length of time it took the dryer to dry our clothes and the oven to cook the food, which was over 2 hours. The drawer in the freezer was broke, it didn't slide out when you pulled the door open. The pots and pans were old. The second shower was old, narrow and slippy. There was one beach chair provided, it was so flimsy we didn't use it. We purchased 3 and left them behind for the next guests. There was an umbrella and a broken one in the closet, no rafts or tubes. We vacation annually, this is the first condo we ever stayed at that didn't have some things to get started-foil, cooking spray/oil, soap etc. If you stay, plan to take everything or buy when you arrive. It didn't seem looked after, the air vent was so dirty that the already loud AC unit was even louder with the dirty filter, they did replace it when we reported it. The sprinkler was leaking in the hallway, they did an "inspection" of all the units when we were there, they didn't look at all the sprinklers in our condo and I am not sure how the inspector didn't see the water dripping from the hallway one. The mattresses were not comfortable, the twin beds are old and on wheels, they squeaked when someone moved. I would stay at the Sand Dollar again, but not in this unit.

The rental was fully equipped with everything we needed, especially in the kitchen, and including beach towels and beach chair. Beautiful views from the balcony, it’s great that it’s on the 5th floor, you don’t hear as much from the pool area. Overall the rental was clean and beautifully decorated, we very much enjoyed the rental. I’d suggest a few upgrades: a new bathtub in the guest bathroom, bed comforters as there were a few questionable stains and upgrade the ironing board as it’s broken.

Quiet Shores

Enjoyed our stay very much at the Sand Dollar. The condo was clean and comfortable. Nice beaches and weather was beautiful for February. Location is good for quiet and more relaxing environment. Good restaurants in the area but most not in walking distance. Overall enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend or stay again..

yearly getaway

Enjoyed our 2 week stay very much. Condo was very clean, spacious, and kitchen was very well stocked. The view from the balcony was awesome, saw dolphins every day! Pool and Jacuzzi were very clean and nice also. Tried to book for next year but it was already taken (bummer). Will keep trying for next year since this was by far the nicest condo we've stayed in.

Enjoyable Visit

This condo is a few years old, but is in excellent condition, spotless, and has a wonderful view. Nice area, with plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. Plenty of things nearby to do with the children in our group.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been to the Sand Dollar the same week of 12/26 7 of the last 9 years. It is perfect for families. We love it there. The reason for the imperfect scores are primarily due to the beds in the units. Despite the king mattress being fairly new, it was extremely soft and sagged in the middle even after removing the foam topper. The twins in the back bedroom made a fair amount of noise whenever you moved. The only other feedback I'd have for the property would be to eliminate the bracelets. They aren't enforced, they are something more likely to break or lose than prevent abuse of the pool. In addition, it would be nice for the stairwells to get coded locks instead of having to carry a key now that units, the main office door, and the beach gate are all codes. Despite the mattresses and minor inconveniences of the keys/bracelets, we've already booked the same unit for next year.
