Pleasant Stay

Clean , excellent location. Owner is friendly .Some fly screens would be good so fresh air can get in without the mozzies and wifi and TV Antenna could do with a bit of a boost but not unmanageable.Very pleasant stay overall. Would book again.

Close to beach

Great spot. Good accommodation. A few steps involved and a bit stuffy inside until we got things opened up.

Nice place close to the beach

Very clean and spacious enough for 4 people. Great location that is walking distance to Smiths Beach. Building is a bit old, but the kitchen and bathroom is modern. There is water sports gear available to borrow but we only realised on our last day so didn't make use of it. Would definitely stay again!

So close to the beach.

This simple property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Owners are very responsive but we didn’t require anything. It’s really great that linen is included too.

The bed was very uncomfortable and in the pictures it looked like the upstairs unit (which we had) had a balcony however what it really was both units were upstairs and all we had was an alcove

Great place!

Really great location and apartment had everything we needed stayed for a girls trip for a night and would definitely stay again! Sam and Luciano were great with communication too.

Our stay at the Smith beach

It was short visit only for one night but the property has everything we need for longer stay. It was clean and organized.

Great Apartment close to Beach and other attractions.

This was a lovely , well presented apartment in a great location. The property manager was a pleasure to deal with. Great , speedy communication .

HORRIBLE! Couldn't stay there

Property was awful. Stank of damp and we found damp rot in the skirting boards of main bedroom. Diesel machinery stored on level below so when you tried to air the property and open the windows you were overwhelmed with diesel fumes/smell. No fly wire on the windows so within minutes we had mosquitoes in the property. The smell of the damp, the damp rot and diesel was so bad we didn't last longer than 1 hour in the property before we had to leave and head home again. The host did not agree there was an issue. Tried to blame diesel smell on having grass cut. We got photos of the damp rot which he denied there was any. Both diesel and damp rot we feel pose health risks to anyone staying there. If Stayz had shown there was diesel machinery stored right below the kitchen and lounge windows, or if it had been disclosed that there was diesel machinery right outside the windows, we would never had chosen the property. The kitchen bench was dirty, coffee splashes on the kettle, crumbs etc on bench, stains on the wall. Tried to raise the concerns with the host and he said "I've never had anyone complain about this before", & "there's nothing I can do about it" when we tried to ask for a refund due to health concerns we raised.He denied it saying "it was too late to get someone else in". Our answer to this, we feel is, disclose fully what's on the property in first place; the damp rot is evident, in photos. These things should be disclosed/fixed before anyone else comes in to stay.

Beach trip

Amazing stay and apartment. Would potentially feel hestitant to share the balcony space if both apartments were occupied. Beach is 5 min walk and super clean. Would return or come back with 2 couples to rent out both apartments.
