Curl up on the sun porch as the early morning quietly reveals a showcase of wildlife, or stretch out in front of the wood-burning stove for after-dinner conversations, movies, or games with family and friends. This handcrafted log cabin also offers a reminder of `days gone by`, providing a unique experience that will thrill guests and bring back some memories for many people.

The kitchen is fully functional and a fabulous reminder of simpler times, it is sure to bring a smile to your face as you whip up that scrumptious recipe you have been anxiously waiting to try.

The Far and Away Cabin property is unmatched in natural beauty, boasting unobstructed views of mountain peaks, stunning sunrises, and sunsets, a nighttime full of stars, frequent visits from wildlife, complete isolation from city and road noise, and easy access to a secluded beach along the White River. There are some rules for the beach, as it is a wildlife haven, so please note: no fishing as the area is protected, no campfires, no disorderly conduct, no kegs, and critically important: Leave the beach as you found it. -National Park Guidelines

The cabin`s spacious, open-concept floor plan is rustic but also includes creature comforts like a sleeping loft with three queen-sized beds, a claw-foot bathtub on the main floor, a washing machine and dryer in the loft, and a widescreen TV with surround sound in the living room. Free WiFi for internet and streaming.

Located within a short driving distance to Lake Wenatchee State Park, Stevens Pass Ski Resort, the town of Plain.

This home is located 30.2 miles away (42 min) from downtown Leavenworth and about the same to Stevens Pass.

Maximum Occupancy 4 guests (includes infants & children).
Maximum vehicle parking is 4.

Please Note:

-WINTER GUESTS-

Due to the remote location and difficulty with winter access, it is extremely important to be aware of the following.

From 11/15 - 4/15 snow levels in the driveway and parking areas can become deep between snow removal visits.

Only vehicles with high clearance and AWD/4WD are adequate and they are required.

Guests are strongly recommended to have snow chains/cables and know how to install them.

Love Leavenworth will not be responsible for any towing charges.

2 portable AC units and fans are provided for your comfort

Mosquitos are out and active at times during summer. Please come prepared.

While it is rare, power and Internet outages can occur.

This home has no cell service, but there is a landline on-site for local calls.

The Bunk House is not included with this rental.

During summer, there is a burn ban that goes into effect for all of Chelan County when there is a high fire danger.  During the ban, it could be that no campfires, use of charcoal briquettes, or any other form of burning is allowed.

Please supervise children and use caution:

-The decks and balconies have secure railings but caution should be taken with children.

-The home is situated on the White River with trail access to the beach.

-Rivers have swift and unpredictable currents.  Great care should be taken when playing in and around these environments.

If you are planning to visit during the winter or summer months, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. The weather can be unpredictable during these seasons and we hold firm to our cancelation policy.
