Oceanview Retreat: Magnificent ocean view over the 90 Mile Beach

Oceanview Retreat is a beautifully presented, private and self-contained lower-level holiday apartment with magnificent views over 90 Mile Beach. Located approximately 3.5 kilometres from the Lakes Entrance town centre, it provides an ideal coastal getaway for couples.

Just 3.5 km from the town centre of Lakes Entrance village, the property boasts a fire pit (BYO wood) in a coastal garden setting, a fully equipped kitchen, and tasteful modern furnishings to enjoy the sounds of the ocean waves.

The private bedroom has one queen-size bed, with linen and towels provided. Two single fold-out beds are also available in the living area; guests using the fold-out beds must bring their own bedding or sleeping bags.

Featuring a large outdoor alfresco area, and a fabulous living area to relax at the end of the day, Oceanview retreat is perfectly equipped for your next private getaway.

Great spot

Nice spot a bit away from central Lakes with a terrific view. Small but very well appointed and everything you need for a couple of days away.

The best well needed week away from work.

Just perfect. Beautiful modern, clean and comfy. Quiet but just a stones throw to the shops and restaurants. Spectacular view all day. Native birds galore. Restful yard with sun and shelter. Definitely the most relaxing break we have had in a long time. Highly recommend, couples of all ages.

Spectacular view

Quiet, peaceful place with amazing view, I could wash dishes all day with that view. Beautiful unit. Super clean, even the toaster which impressed me.

The unit was pleasantly decorated with lovely extra touches. The garden was lovely with quirky garden art and visiting native birds feeding on the provided bird feeder. All up it was a very pleasant and relaxing place to stay.

Easter Break

Modern clean furnishings in a quiet location but view and no direct sunshine is only present if outside. Being really a studio apartment located below the house above (which has full sun and views) below views obstructed by trees and no window from bedroom. Most amenities were well covered but for us not quite suitable.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very steep driveway and a lot of steps to gain access to property and the yard which is very dangerous as there was no lighting. The kitchen was very basic - not enough plates, bowls, glasses etc. I had to go buy a mixing bowl as there was nothing to use for salads or for mixing.The only table and chairs was outside and it was very cold. The cupboards in the living room is for clothes and so I didn't appreciate coming out of the bathroom to get some clothes and having the owner walk past looking into the kitchen window. There was little quiet and privacy as the owner lived up stairs and was thumping around and the neighbours were quite noisy as well. 4.8 rating - I don't think so.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Off to a bad start, as we had only booked 24 hours prior, the host was unaware he had a booking. This meant there was no hot water for the first night. We were only given 2 towels for a family of 4. I did email the host for extra towels, but never heard back. The view was beautiful, nice place for a short stay.
