East Meets West in this luxury cottage across from the beach road in Southcott Pines, Grand Bend. Picture spending long days relaxing on the new three level deck, cooking in the gourmet kitchen and watching the sunsets on the beach.

East Meets West is a large open concept cottage filled with exotic furniture and art from the Far East. It is decorated with flare, but it still maintains a casual vacation atmosphere.

The home has 3 Queen and 1 double size bed. Some of the features include a wood burning fireplace, separate deck off of the master bedroom, ensuite bathroom and an amazing location… only a 3 minute walk to the beach.
Please note the hot tub is not available during the winter season.

It is a lovely house with easy access to the beach. Lots of room for families/groups to spread out and a big table to bring everyone together for meals. The quality of some of the mattresses was poor.

Beautiful home in an even more beautiful location. Loved the easy access to the beach along with the quiet of the wooded neighborhood. Close enough to the businesses in Grand Bend to walk for necessities or just casual shopping. Kitchen was well supplied with appliances and service ware/utensils. The open floor plan was great for group to visit and enjoy time together. Great private back deck. Rooms were very clean and comfortable but mattresses were a bit on the older worn side. Tried to contact the host with a few questions but didn't receive a reply. We were making plans before we even left to make this our annual Fall girls getaway location.

A few adjustments needed to this unit which have been forwarded to management company and hopefully the owners. Great location and lots of room for 8 ladies get together.

The house is beautiful, and comfortable, with top notch appliances, and a really well equipped kitchen. The beach is gorgeous and truly only 3 minutes away. Perfect for walking, swimming, and viewing the most amazing sunsets. The hot tub was hot, although we wished it was in a different location. The lighting was wonderful, and I loved the furniture and the artwork. There were slight details that weren't perfect, but overall the place is fantastic and I would go back. Very close to Grand Bend, shopping, the Pinery. The neighbourhood is quiet and full of beautiful mature trees, lovely for walking or biking, and very quiet.

The property was beautiful. The communication with the host was quick and easy. The bedrooms were big and fit all 10 of our family easily. The beach was only a quick walk away. We did need to buy some cleaning supplies, toilet paper and paper towel. Pretty happy over all.

Home away from home

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful weekend away. We had lots of fun filled with laughter and more great memories were made. The property inside is a nice open space with kitchen, dining and livingroom together overlooking a huge deck. The bedrooms were nice and spacious - 3 upstairs and one in the basement with another really nice sitting area. It was nice and clean and any questions we had were answered right away. The beautiful beach was a very short walk up the road. It was a nice home away from home. I would recommend this property for any family or friends wanting to plan a mini vacay.

Family wedding stay

The property was very spacious, well appointed, and it had close access to a great private beach. It was very convenient as it was close to Grand Bend and to Zurich where our family wedding took place. Overall it was clean, but we had an issue with large black ants in the lower level which prevented us from enjoying the property to its fullest extent.

Great cottage, excellent location!

The cottage was very clean and we made sure to leave it the same way. The location is also excellent as it provides access to nearby beach. Overall we all enjoyed the stay. Will surely visit again.
