The Cove is a prestigious apartment nestled into a leafy hillside with fabulous views overlooking picture-perfect South Gorge Beach at Point Lookout. This stunning tree-hugged sandy beach is a jewel in Point Lookout’s crown. It is famous for its sparkling clear water with ideal surf breaks, prolific wildlife and amazing rocky cliffs that hug the beach. Above the beach is the Gorge Walk where it’s an everyday experience to spot “The Straddie Big Six”- dolphins, whales, kangaroos, koalas, turtles, and sea eagles.

The apartment is an easy one-minute stroll to the beach at the Gorge as well as patrolled Main Beach which offers some of the best surfing in Australia. Kangaroos call this part of Point Lookout home, so don’t be surprised to see them grazing near the gelati shops or hopping down the beach while the surfers catch the last waves in the early evening.

Sleeping up to 6 guests across 3 bedrooms this luxury penthouse is modern and comfortable. Large picture windows in the kitchen, living area and master bedroom provide stunning views over South Gorge and the Pacific Ocean. These areas all open onto a large balcony that will lure you out to watch the whales splashing about, and the waves rolling in.

The master bedroom has a luxurious king bed, with ensuite bathroom, and walk-in robe. It also has a desk with adjacent power points for those who like to stay in touch with the outside world, as well as a comfy reading chair to escape with a book. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has 2 king single beds. These two light airy rooms share a second bathroom, and have plantation shutters, lovely built-in robes, ceiling fans and feather bed toppers for your comfort. There is also a washing machine and dryer in the apartment for your use.

The light-filled open plan living room and kitchen areas have breathtaking views over the ocean. The kitchen is a chef’s delight and fully equipped while the living area features lush, comfortable sofas and a huge tv with free Netflix. A large terrace with outdoor dining, a daybed and gorgeous hammock offer options on how to laze away the days. It’s the perfect place to enjoy stunning sunrises, check out the surf without leaving home, and enjoy cocktails in the evening watching the sunsets.

There is a refreshing pool for your use, with an adjacent bbq area, as well as free wifi, and your own car space. It’s a gentle stroll to great coffee shops, a bakery, gelati shops, restaurants and organic food supplies, and a seafood shop, doctors surgery and a pharmacy.
