The open concept floor plan makes entertaining a breeze and encourages family time around the dining room table. A fully equipped kitchen awaits your home cooked meals or private chef experience. With high speed internet access and keyless entry vacation has never been more convenient and easy.

Our contactless check-in procedure makes check-in easy. Guests will receive a personalized access code prior to arrival.



Boating:

We encourage boating. Here's what you need to know in order to do so safely:

- Private dock can accommodate boats up to 50’ in length. Maximum one boat per dock.

- There is no power or pump out service to the slips.

- The Florida Keys are a notoriously difficult place to navigate.

The stay overall was very positive, we thoroughly enjoyed it. There was ample room for everyone staying, the AC worked well, there were a ton of towels, the sheets were all clean, the pool was a great temperature. A few things we noticed were that there was no baking sheet in the kitchen, there were a few cockroaches outside by the pool area, there were little black ants in the master bedroom/bathroom. Also although check in and check out were easy, it was very frustrating to be told that early check in and late check out are only granted the day of, especially because we had people flying in. Those are things that need to be planned and not decisions to be made day of.

Beautiful house with lots of problems

On the surface it’s a beautiful house and it served it’s purpose of housing a group of friends. However, we had a laundry list of issues: -When we arrived the house was 85 degrees, we assumed it was because of the cleaners working with doors open but as the night went on we could not get the downstairs cooler than 79 despite the upstairs being incredibly cold. -The back door lock would not latch. -downstairs living room fan has no way to turn it on. We tried every switch in the house. That became a problem paired with how hot the downstairs already was bc AC problems -the upstairs fans can only be on when the light is on??? Strange technology for a new build home -we spotted in total 5 cockroaches in different areas of the home. Sure it’s Florida, but that is Unsanitary especially the one we found in the kitchen drawers and ON A MATTRESS - a home that can house up to 12 people being booked for 4 days should come with more than 2 garbage bags and 1 single paper towel roll. Also, the kitchen has absolutely no basics like salt and pepper or cooking oil. This is the first vacation rental I have had to go buy numerous basics for a short stay -front door lock is very finicky and has to be lined up perfectly to latch all the way (realized this out after being gone all afternoon and coming home to an unlocked door) - pool temp is set to 87 degrees. Feels like a hot sauna. Not refreshing at all In all, it’s a beautiful house but shotty construction and poorly managed.

Beautiful home and excellent stay!!!

This house went far beyond its expectations. It is HUGE. Property was very well maintained and clean. There was more then enough space for 9 of us. Host was very responsive and let us check in an hour early on our first day and extended our checkout time 2 hours the last day without batting an eye. Host was very responsive during the entire booking process also. 5 stars across the board would book again no questions asked!

Beautiful home

We booked this house for a small family reunion. The kids loved the pool. The pool was gated for safety (which the parents loved). Perfect space to spend time relaxing. Beautiful home, amenities abundant, location awesome! Thank you!!!

Great Stay!!

What a great experience! Originally booked at another vrbo from the same agency but the AC went out before we arrived. Before I had time to panic they had already worked out an arrangement to get us into what was an upgrade! Beautiful house, great pool, perfect location an easy ride share from downtown, and wow what a space. Can’t recommend this spot enough.

Wonderfully located and gorgeous home. So glad we decided to stay here. Kept our boat at the dock. No issues with anything except the time. It went by way too fast. Would definitely be back.

Realtor Getaway

From the moment we opened the door and saw the sea view we were all in love. We stayed here for a real estate conference nearby. It was like the real world, a bunch of friends coming together to enjoy Key West. The house created the perfect backdrop for a great time. We enjoyed the pool, ate around the kitchen island and enjoyed the decks. Everything was clean and beautiful. We had plenty of towels and everything we needed for a good time. We especially loved the way the house was decorated, each bathroom had its own theme, we slept well in all of the beds and the couches were comfy. I loved the dock, the water was deep enough to jump and the water was so nice and warm. I would definitely come back here next time I am in Key West & will even make it a point to bring the whole family.

Wonderful retreat

We loved everything about staying here-the proximity to Key West downtown (but the beautiful quiet with it being a little removed). Accommodations were immaculate.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an absolutely lovely time at Sophisticated Sunsets. The property was beautiful, and had a number of thoughtful touches including beach towels, toiletries, and all the kitchen devices you could want. The property management company was also great about providing updates leading up to the stay, and answering the phone immediately when I was accessing the property for the first time (my own user error with the lock!). Would definitely return!
