The perfect base for all your Hunter Valley adventures this charming cottage is equipped with everything you need to make your stay a breeze.
A beautifully renovated 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with all the local amenities at your doorstep, and within 5 minutes drive to the Hunter Valley Vineyards.
The house has a fully equipped kitchen, 2 separate lounge rooms and 2 full bathrooms, and a huge backyard for all to enjoy.
The cottage can comfortably accommodate groups and families of up to 10 guests and has ample space for stays of all occasions.
Our huge games shed is an added bonus with a pool table, dart board, lounge suite and more, it is the perfect place to ensure you have great getaway rain, hail, or shine.
You’ll be located within walking distance of everything you could need during your stay with the award-winning Wollombi Road Providore just across the road, the local pub down the road as as well as local eateries and essentials shops around the corner.
The large yard has a BBQ and fire pit for outdoor entertaining as well as a vegetable garden and ample grassed area for everyone to enjoy some fresh country air, don't forget to check out the spectacular stars in the country night sky and keep an eye out for the hot air balloons floating on by.
All linen and towels are provided for all guests as well as some kitchen basics like tea, coffee and an assortment of condiments are available for use throughout your stay. This really is your home away from home right here in the Hunter Valley!

Charming family getaway in Cessnock

Winter Magic: Unforgettable Family Retreat in Hunter Valley

Our family retreat in Hunter Valley was truly unforgettable. Nestled amidst stunning scenery, the charming cottage provided a cozy haven with spacious bedrooms and modern amenities that made us feel right at home. The kids loved exploring the backyard during the day and unwinding with their favorite shows at night. A highlight was visiting the nearby Snow Time event at Hunter Valley Gardens, where the kids had a blast playing in the snow. Evenings were spent in the games shed, enjoying rounds of pool and darts. Gathering around the fire pit to roast marshmallows under the starlit sky was a favourite moment, filled with warmth and laughter. Conveniently located near local shops and eateries, we savoured exploring the area, creating lasting memories of laughter and adventure.

Relaxing stay.

This was a very beautiful and clean house , every thing we needed was available, felt like home ❤️. Kids loved the pool table and hang out area, then sat around the fire pit with cuppa , just felt relaxing and very peaceful….. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us, also thank you to the cleaners for their hard work… it definitely shows .

Lovely weekender

We had a wonderful night as a group of friends here. Very useful to have a shop and cafe close by. Really enjoyed the fire pit. This would also be a fantastic place for a couple of families to stay, as the double beds and bunk bed rooms work really well. Thanks for having us!

Well appointed and spacious property

Great place to stay and communications with the ownner were friendly and efficient. With two under 16’s in the party we really appreciated the well equipped games room. The sofa and lounge chairs could do with a refurb but otherwise the facilities were excellent.

Beautiful clean relaxing cottage

Meet more than our expectations. The cottage was such a lovely place to stay in, with kitchen having everything and more you would need. The outside sitting area with a pit fire, the grocery shop across the way with all fresh and surprising produce and excellent coffee. We will definitely be back.

Perfect location for Hunter Valley visit

Alicia was very responsive and helpful, the property was clean spacious and when the additional games room is complete it will be the perfect kids retreat which will allow adults to kick back and relax but in our case use dit as a place to sleep overnight and it was perfect.

Short 3 day getaway

The property was clean and comfortable. Kids loved the large corner block, great for playing catch and ball games. Inside is spacious, high ceilings and other period charm. Coffee machine and Netflix a bonus.

Has everything you need!

Easy to find, close to town, short walk to some shops. House can easily fit large group, comfortable living spaces, kitchen with heaps of basics and fresh coffee beans, staples in cupboard & fridge. Highly recommend staying here.

Lovely house

The cottage can comfortably accommodate families and groups of up to 8 guests.
Located just minutes from all of the Hunter Valleys' biggest attractions this is the perfect base for you to explore everything the stunning region has to offer.The 1920s cottage has been renovated to include all the modern amenities including air-con, wi-fi & smart tv, whilst keeping its stunning period features such as 15-foot ceilings, gorgeous leadlight windows, and a pressed metal ceiling.
3 generous and comfortable bedrooms along with two separate living areas and two full bathrooms mean there is plenty of space to accommodate families and groups. You'll have access to the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, and gas cooking as well as a BBQ outside in the spacious and peaceful back yard. The spacious and homely living spaces are packed with board games and entertainment options to suit everyone's holiday needs!
Added features include a gas fireplace an outdoor fire pit and a veggie garden for all to enjoy.
