Welcome to Tropical Cabana

Tropical Cabana is an inviting rental home situated on a sailboat access canal in SW Cape Coral. The property offers quick access to the Caloosahatchee River, twenty-five minutes to Matlacha, and twenty-five minutes to Fort Myers Beach. Here, guests can enjoy all that SW Florida has to offer from the convenience of a pristine, well-designed vacation home.
This beautifully decorated rental features 3 bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen, and 2 Twins) and 2 full bathrooms.
6 TVs are provided throughout the home with Streaming Services only
Tropical Cabana can comfortably accommodate six guests and even allows pets (there is a non-refundable pet fee). For your convenience, all essentials are included: a fully equipped kitchen, linens, iron & ironing board, and more. The interior boasts a light and spacious design. From the kitchen, you can access the dining and living room with plenty of seating as well as add, seats for two at the breakfast bar. There is also wireless internet, Netflix, and baby equipment provided for your stay. Long-term stays are permitted.
Highlights of the outside include a large lanai waiting to be used for sunbathing, grilling, al fresco dining, lounging, entertaining, and swimming in the heated, saltwater pool. There are also lounge chairs, cushioned outdoor seating under the roof on the lanai to enjoy relaxing afternoons and evenings. A bonus is the waterfront canal dining near the boat and fishing dock; fishing poles provided. For the adventurous, the rental includes yard games, four bicycles, 2 kayaks (single and a double), and two paddleboards! Additionally, six beach chairs and a beach umbrella are available for your trips to the beach.
Tropical Cabana truly has it all and is just a thirty-minute drive from Southwest Florida International Airport. With over four hundred miles of canals, a plethora of restaurants, nature reserves, and nearby beach towns, this location offers a wide range of activities to suit every guest.

Could use improvements

Loved having kayaks and bikes and the outdoor backyard was great. Pool was very nice and beach supplies were great to have. Personally I really liked the adjustable king bed. Also it is very pet friendly home. Other than that the home is very dated and amenities/supplies are in need of refreshing. For example furniture was worn, stained and dirty, the dishwasher had a small issue. Lanai umbrella had no base, lanai furniture was old and one of the lounge chairs was broken. The A/C is leaking Freon and needed to be serviced while we were there. The home is also for sale and we were asked to allow showings With compensation in 50 gift card. We respectfully declined due to working remotely. But this would have been good to know prior to booking.

Comfy house on canal

Well-equipped house for a family stay! Lots of recreational equipment and a great lanai and pool. We had maintenance issues with a pool leak and the pool heater during our stay that were resolved. Vesteva was responsive when we called. I wished the primary BR ceiling fan had more than one low speed. The primary BA sink faucet didn't get hot water. But overall a great vacation home.

Fun in the sun

Loved the house. All was as expected. Great communication with agency and owner. Had to leave did to a hurricane Milton. But we returned to continue our vacation. Hope to Visit again

Nice home, good location

Overall enjoyed our stay. The house was as described. The property was nice, including the fenced backyard and nice seating area around the patio. The pool was great. The house came stocked with a lot of useful things. The location was close to a lot of Cape Coral favorites so that was a plus. The only challenges were 1) the bed in the master bedroom was way too soft for our comfort and was one of those beds with two separate adjustable mattresses; that's probably great for some people but just wasn't for us. And the whole house fan we had to turn off because when it switched on, it literally shook the house and was super loud. But beyond that, a nice stay, would recommend.

Tropical review

The house was clean (a little outdated decor wise). We enjoyed the outdoors mostly, kayaks and fishing in the canal. Oven would not close to use to cook anything. Grill door fell off outside due to rust. If you are a married couple staying here, just know posturepedic bed has a gap in between, like two twin beds pushed together. Not very romantic when your partner has to come on your side of the bed to cuddle. In my opinion, this bed shouldn't be in a rental property. Other than those few things, we were happy to stay at tge Tropical Cabana.

Great house and all the amenities

This is a great house. Super clean and we loved the pool, which was warm the entire week. We stayed here in Nov. 2023. Nice dock with fishing poles so we fished every morning and caught lots of fish. Tackle box was old and pretty empty so could use some new hooks and fishing accessories and a new pole or two. We borrowed some fishing supplies from friends however and had everything we needed. We used the bikes and the kayaks also. Drove to Ft. Myers beach one day which was nice, although they are still rebuilding after the hurricane from last year. Our friends took us out on the water and we went to Cabbage Key which was awesome! I love this area of Florida and would recommend this property.

We loved staying at Tropical Cabana, the stay was great. Lots of room, pool area was fun, lots of space to hang out. Having bikes, paddle boards, and kayak available was excellent. The deck is gorgeous. Community is quiet, clean, and safe. 30 minute drive to Fort Myers beach!
