Excellent cozy stay

Westgate 3303A is an excellent place to stay if you’re looking for comfort and upscale accommodations. The property was exceptionally clean, and the room itself was spacious, cozy, and very comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a long day. The high-end amenities really stand out, the steam shower is the reason we keep coming back! The only area that could use improvement is the kitchen, which would benefit from additional add-ons and better stocking for guests who plan to cook. Overall, a great experience and a place I would gladly stay at again.

The room was very nice. The pictures do not do it justice. The kitchen was serviceable but not really set up for cooking. The building is VERY hard to navigate. You have to go up and down on various floors to get to the garage or to the Canyons village.

Pleasant stay, odd building configuration

Very nice, clean, updated, comfortable room.Building configuration is unique with different needs on different floors and/locations, but after a few walking arounds was quickly figured out.The only drawback, based solely on the individual unit location, was the buildings trash compactor that would run occasionally until, at the latest, 10:45 p.m. and sounded like there was construction going on - but overall a nice stay, convenient location for skiing, and friendly staff.

Dear Brad, Thank you for being our guest for your recent Park City vacation! We agree Westgate is a little tricky to figure out, but once you do it's not so bad. We hope the ski access made up for it :) We appreciate the feedback on the home itself and are happy to hear you liked everything but the noise from the trash compactor. We will see if we can do something to mitigate the sound, perhaps some white noise machines or a fan would help. Thank you for helping us improve for future travelers. We hope you will come back again soon!

Excellent Property/Location!

This was an excellent property! It was a little confusing at the beginning because it did not appear the same as advertised, but quickly realized the property was recently renovated. The highlight was the convenience for all the amenities within the resort. We had complimentary shuttle to various locations, ski valet services, and a locker room for ski boots and other equipment. Also, the property management company did a wonderfully job in communication. I highly recommend this VRBO if you love to ski!

Great location

The Westgate property is lovely and super convenient at the base of the Canyons mountain. It has many amenities that make a great ski holiday. Just beware that the pullout sofa in the living room is a full size, not a queen as advertised. My two teens were squished in which wasn’t great for five nights. Also the kitchen is not well appointed (3 pots, one fry pan, limited cooking utensils) so difficult to make more than one or two dishes at a time. Not the “gourmet kitchen” that is advertised. Recommend the Westgate, but don’t recommend this one-bedroom condo for more than 3 people or if you are serious about cooking dinner at night.

Dear Kristin, Thank you so much for being our guest and for taking the time to share your feedback on your recent stay at Westgate. We value your feedback and appreciate the opportunity to improve. We're happy you enjoyed the ski-in/ski-out location, which is hard to beat when combined with the resort amenities! We strive to provide a 5-star vacation for every guest, although it sounds like we fell short for your stay. We would like you to know that we appreciate the candid feedback and value your experience. It sounds like there were a couple of areas in which we fell short of our standard level of service and attention to detail, particularly about the furnishings and kitchen pots/pans. Please rest assured that we have taken a full home inventory and replaced any missing/damaged items. We will also share your full comments with the rest of our team as a coaching opportunity. We would love another opportunity to welcome you back should you choose us for a future trip out west!

So much better than the pictures

Our stay in Park City was amazing! First of all, I booked a older looking "cabin-y" feel room, but I showed up to a recently renovated modern apartment. I gasped with excitement when I opened the door to see a place that made me feel at home. I guess if you don't like modern, this place isn't for you. Brand new appliances, great bathtub, steam shower, marble fireplace, comfortable bed. Fabulous place! I actually overpacked because I wasn't expecting the amount of amenities provided. Plenty of towels, tissues, toilet paper, coffee, laundry detergent, hair dryer, a safe, and a humidifier. So fabulous that they thought of every need! I would say the room was above the trash/loading area so if you are a light sleeper in the morning, may be a problem - but we were getting up early to hit the slopes and we would gladly stay here again. It wasn't enough of an annoyance to deter from the beauty of the place. Westgate itself was amazing - lots of amenities - multiple pools, saunas, transportation to downtown Park City, super close to the slopes (and they bring your snowboard to the lift), underground parking, and a great little store for all our needs. Just takes a while to get a feel for how the heck to get to place, not every floor connects - I imagine since it's built into the slope essentially that it was a confusing construction project but by the end of the trip, I got a feel for the place but be prepared for many people wandering around lost haha. iTrip was also great reaching out to make sure if we had any questions, making sure we had all the materials for checkin and then giving all the instructions for checkout. Highly recommend them as well!

Disappointing and not up to standard for the price

The check-in is at 4:00 pm. which is a little late to begin with, and then the line was out the door, with only two employees working. Staff is hard to come by these days. The gentleman who eventually assisted with my check-in did not seem to have a firm grip on the process. Perhaps it was his first day. The room itself looked nice and clean and was well stocked with kitchen items. The location (not disclosed in the listing) was disappointing as it was directly over the dumpster and adjacent to the giant HVAC rooms, which meant very loud whirring noises all night long. I found it difficult to get to sleep/remain asleep. In the morning, I chose to have a relaxing soak in the slipper tub. Very nice! Until at 9:23 Housekeeping entered. I had arranged for late check-out at 11:00, but even regular check-out is at 10:00 so I'm not sure what H'keeping was doing barging in before 9:30. I'd not have mentioned the other issues, but that was the last straw When my host asked if I enjoyed my stay, I was honest, as above. Host asked if there was anything they could do to make it right. Since I was not staying another night, I suggested a credit of some sort. To which they replied, "all of the issues you describe are the Wyndham's problems, not ours, so we can't do anything for you." This is funny because It was they who asked me what they could do! So I asked that - what was it that you were going to offer to do when you asked if you could make it right? To which there was no response.

Nice Enough

Overall we had a wonderful time/experience at the Westgate Resort. There is a lot of construction going on, I'm not sure if that contributed to the dust in our room or not but it was kind of gross. Our place was basically spotless and appeared very clean. But every table/countertop had enough dust on it to where you could draw in it with your finger. The Resort itself has a lot of nice amenities but it will take you a day or two to figure out how to get around. It's like a maze inside having to get on and off separate elevators to get around different parts of the resort. We didn't have any kids but I can see where this would be a wonderful resort for children, plenty for them to do as well as adults. One thing I do wish is that there was a little better explanation of the type of ski slopes outside the resort. My wife and I are both beginner skiers so we had to drive about 10 minutes every time we wanted to get on a green slope instead of the blue. Again, overall a good experience, just a few things I would change.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the dust in your room and cleanliness. We strive to provide our guests with spotless accommodations, but it seems we may have missed the mark during your stay. I will make sure to pass along your comments to our housekeeping team so we can address this issue immediately. As for navigating the resort, thank you for sharing your experience. We understand how it could be confusing to move around the different areas of our property, but we are always looking for ways to improve and will take your suggestions into consideration. Amazing experience

We hadn’t been to the Canyons before and this unit at Westgate was so convenient right in the village. Westgate provided locker room for boots and the ski service had our skis at the bottom of the mountain each day! We also used ski butlers that you all recommended and they delivered all of the equipment and picked it up! We used all of the amenities, restaurants and market. We will definitely be back!
