The master bedroom is separate from the other two bedrooms, a big plus! The location is wonderful. Near my favorite restaurant. Peaceful on the bayside, yet very convenient to get to the beach and businesses. We will be back for sure!

Bird poop everywhere and I can tell it wasn’t properly cleaned before arrival. But man o man did the inside and upstairs area surprise me. Inside was extremely homely , never felt so instantly comfortable as soon as I walked into a beach house and I’ve been to plenty. Beautiful decor that matches the beach vibe , had everything the boys and I needed. The hammock downstairs near the water was beyond relaxing. The uno cards definitely ignited some rivalries. Swedes has done it again , my family and I only rent from these guys! The ladies I’m sure don’t remember me but the customer service is always incredible. Be back soon

Overall very pleased with the house and location, declined off for linen package, (bedsheets), but was not informed that no bath towels or washcloths would be on site and need to bring you on. Outside this little, was a very nice stay.

Nice place, Management company, not so much.

The stay was fairly nice and we enjoyed the home. The photos don't do it justice. Big kitchen was well appointed and easy to cook in. Electric stovetop and oven were in working order. There were 2 charcoal grills that worked well. The management company on the other hand is a different story. When we arrived at the house the internal temperature was 91 degrees. we had to turn the A/C on and leave for 3 hours to allow it to cool down. We paid extra for the convenience of having linens, towels and washcloths. If you think that you should pay for this convenience, I would suggest rethinking it. The sheets were threadbare and the towels and washcloths were like sandpaper. The master bedroom is the hottest room in the house. The water and ice maker in the refrigerator don't work so make sure you stop and get ice on the way in. The biggest gripe I have was that the house came equipped with exactly 1/2 a roll of 1 ply, 60 grit sandpaper, I mean toilet paper per bathroom and nothing else. There was exactly 1 trashcan liner in the kitchen trash can. When that was full, we were just SOL.So, to recap, bring your own linens, bring your own toilet paper and bring your own trash bin liners. One would think that when spending well over 200 a night for a place that they would at least have the basic essentials provided. I just hope that the owner looks at the reviews that this home has received.

Reviewer Comments: Location - Great locationSwede's - GreatGeneral condition was ok, lots of outside lights didn't work several unsafe plugsThe owner of cabin had thermostat locked and controlled with phone was not stated in description of cabin on website. The setting was locked unit Friday morning, we arrived Thursday noon. Cabin was somewhat clean on arrival placed was swept and the pile was left in utility room.Being a past renter from Swede's this was our worst experience.

The house should have two trash cans outside, and the garbage was only picked up the day we left on Monday. Great spot for a fishing getaway!

Kitchen is very well equipped with many appliances, however, it should be noted that the refrigerator is unavailable for filtered water or ice. Great home right on the bay

My Wife and I stayed this past weekend on a short trip to Chrystal Beach and loved this place. Great location on the bay for bringing a small fishing boat or poles to fish in the front or the rear of the house. Only a couple minutes away from the beach which is nice to leave the beach there when you are done. Kitchen is well stocked so no need to bring anything there. Make sure you bring your sheets for the beds or there is a fee for them to provide. We would stay there again and intend to with our kids this summer. Also the booking agency (Swedes Realty) was easy to work with and had great attitudes

This property management company is unorganized and nobody seemed to know what was going on! Too much hassle to get our getaway started!!

Beautiful home!

Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! This house was perfect! Close to the beach right on the water with easy access to the bay for kayak fishing which we took full advantage of. Best part was the early check in and late check out did not feel rushed to leave. Will definitely be booking again!

Amazing Property

My family and friends really enjoyed staying at the Casa del Pescador! Check in and check out process was super simple and straightforward. The house was spacious and pleasantly comfortable. Will definitely rent this property again!

Casa del Pescador

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked Casa del Pescador about a week before our anticipated stay. We opted to have linens included. The house itself was as described and in a great location. However, we ran into a few issues upon arrival - first - the door code we were given was incorrect. Took about 25 minutes to get that sorted out and we were back in business. Second - we discovered about 45 minutes after we got in the house that the water was off, along with a few other issues like chirping smoke alarms, ice maker non functional, various lightbulbs burnt out, and outlets scattered throughout the house not working. We got with the on call person again about the water, and they had maintenance come out and get it turned out for us. It was likely turned off because of potential for a freeze. The next day maintenance came out (three separate times) to address the other issues. While none were huge issues, it was frustrating that the property management folks, in anticipation of the home being rented for the weekend, hadn't sent anyone out to inspect and make sure the property was ready for guests. Things like the smoke alarms, door code, water off, ice maker not working, lightbulbs, etc - could have all been addressed before we arrived. On top of that - the linens not already being on beds was a surprise. I would have figured that a $150 fee for linens would have at least included their team putting the sheets and pillowcases on the beds. That part was not told to us upon booking but we will know for the future. The check out instructions were also very vague with a note to 'follow instructions from your linen provider' but we weren't given any. So we just stripped beds and left everything in the bathrooms. Overall - the home was very comfortable and we would rent this unit again, if we knew that the property had been inspected prior to our arrival. We were only there for 2 nights, so 4 different maintenance visits was a bit excessive and disruptive to our quick getaway.

Beautiful home

The pictures and descriptions given for this house do not do it justice! This home is really beautiful and very peaceful! Kitchen has everything you need with the exception of bake ware. Bed in master is soft and comfy. Plenty of space on couches in living area. Didn't have any issues with anything in the house. Only downside to this house was no lights for night fishing and trying to figure out the light switches.

Nice getaway

Beautiful home. Cleaning staff could pay more attention to detail. Ceiling fan cords had tons of dust and mattress could be vacuumed and sanitized. Also please inform guest water heater has to be turned on at the breaker once they arrived. We thought hot water was out but apparently the home owners turn the breaker off when they leave. Great home, very spacious, nice layout. We would definitely recommend it!

House layout is perfect. The interior is very nice. Great vacation home

Stayed a week and enjoyed every minute. Had our boat docked at the house for fishing and cruising every day. When we weren't on the boat we were at the beach! Great place for a family vacation.
