This newly renovated, stunning five bedroom, three full bath Harwich beach house offers the perfect blend of Cape Cod charm with the luxuries of modern living - all while being located just 5 houses down from a pristine, sandy Nantucket Sound beach! Situated along the Harwich shoreline offering panoramic views of Nantucket Sound is Red River Beach, known for its wide stretch of soft, powdery sand - ideal for those who want the space to spread out their beach towel and enjoy the sun without feeling crowded, and gentle waters - ideal for those who like to lounge in the water or have children who like to swim or just splash around. Here you will find a lifeguard on duty, mobile food vendors, restroom facilities, and handicap access over sand wheelchairs, and because you will be staying right down the street, you won’t have to worry about parking or a beach sticker.



Colorful hydrangeas, flowering annuals and fruit trees provide a striking foreground to this lovingly maintained home. Enjoy your coffee in the sundrenched three season room while overlooking the lush forest of a former cranberry bog. A light and bright kitchen with cathedral ceilings and large windows flows into a spacious dining and living area creating abundant space for entertainment and fun. Three bedrooms and two full baths also reside on the first level. So comfortable

This house was very comfortable, lots of room to spread out. Very convenient to restaurants and shops, not to mention Red River Beach!

Fabulous house only steps to the beach. Great outdoor space too! The house was super clean and well stocked. Easy and prompt communication with the rental agency. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Very nice and spacious rental just as advertised that appears to be a fairly recent remodel. Good quality bedding, furnishings and kitchen ware. Nothing to complain about here at all

Perfect Cape Cod Getaway

It was incredibly challenging to find a rental for only a weekend on the Cape until I found out about Del Mar. This property was PERFECT!! The photos are very pretty but the place is even prettier in person. The whole house is decorated with a nautical theme and the location was amazing. It is walking distance from a beautiful beach and there are many bars/restaurants a short drive away. Aside from location, the rental was extremely clean and safe. Would love to stay here again some time!

October Harwichport wedding stay

We needed a nice spot for a family of 10 to stay for our son's wedding. This home met all of our needs from plenty of bedrooms to a wonderful outdoor space. We were told that renting the property is still a "work in progress" so the following are observations, not complaints. Some sort of sheet with operating directions for the equipment in the house, e.g. the Nest heat/ac device would have been helpful, how to keep the door from having to be opened only by code every time you went out, and the outdoor timed light came on at least 2 hours after dark and did not turn off until 3 a.m. Minor in conveniences, but I felt they should be mentioned as our stay was not inexpensive. The intimidating rule of the house regarding "day" guests was not one I really understood the reasoning for. We would have second thoughts about renting the home in the summer due to the strict rule of no "day" guests allowed due to exceeding occupancy rules. All in all a very nice stay Thank you for a beautiful and clean space.

Beach convenience and great layout

We had a lovely stay. Communication from rental company was great. I appreciate they asked for feedback. House layout and setup is great for any size and can’t beat the short walk to the beach.

Great home great location

We had and outstanding two weeks at this beautiful home. We had adults the first week and young kids a second week. The home was so accommodating with everything we needed. It was missing an umbrella for the outdoor table. When we requested one it was there in the morning. Del Mar was great. Hope to come back again next year.
